A courageous and devoted mother of four is in urgent need of our support. On Thursday, April 24th, she bravely reached out for help to escape an abusive situation. With three young children at home and one in school, she has been unable to work and currently has no financial resources, support system, or safe place to go. We have been by her side, calling every available shelter, but sadly, each one is at full capacity. Thanks to the support of a generous community resource, she and her children have a safe place to stay in a hotel for two nights (Thursday & Friday). Another organization has kindly provided a third night (Saturday)— but come Sunday, they will once again have nowhere to go. While we continue working tirelessly to find space in a shelter, the hotel remains the only safe option for this family right now. We are asking for your help to provide just one more night of safety and stability for this mother and her children. The hotel she is currently staying at is $200 a night but moving to a cheaper hotel is an option. Her gratitude has been profound — she is overwhelmed by the kindness and compassion shown so far. Let’s continue to lift her up in this moment of need. Every little bit makes a difference. Thank you for helping us keep this family safe.

I am working with a family that is need of assistance with their rent. Dad recently lost his job and would appreciate any help. Dad was able to get a different job but doesn't start until June so they are in need of May rent. Thank you

I have a family that is taking in a three-day old infant that only weighs about 6lbs. We are in need of preemie clothing and infant essentials. Any help is appreciated!

A divorced mother of one child with 8 different disabilities is needing help with her rent. She makes too much to qualify for any assistance and she has recently had to reach out to find nursing help, that she has to pay for, because her child is unable to maintain in the facility he was in due to his outburst, none if which he has control of. He is non verbal, cannot walk and has a g-tube. Her elderly parents have been helping her as much as possible but she just found out her mother now has some health issues, so she has to help her father with that as she is their only child. Any help would be appreciated!

This wonderful family of 6 is currently reunified. The father of the family is sleeping on the floor and is in desperate need of an air mattress. Any help would be appreciated keeping this family comfortable while they wait for housing. Thank you!!

11 year old female is in a new placement and does not have clothes that fit her. The new placement provider is still in the process of being approved and has not received a stipend yet to assist with the child's needs. We are asking for assistance with obtaining clothing for this child.

An underage mother who is in DHS custody in another state has a 1-year-old child in Oklahoma DHS custody. She is traveling from out of state to visit her child in a few days. Her foster mom is bringing her, and the mother would like to have overnight visits or any type of visitation with her child as she has not had much time with the child due to being in another state. The mother and foster family will be here for a week arriving on Saturday. The out of state foster mom and the mother could stay with family members in Oklahoma but the distance where they would stay makes it impossible to have any type of meaningful visitation with her child while she is in Oklahoma for that short time. The foster family mother is placed with has been a blessing to this mother and a great support for her and the mother is working on herself and preparing for the future with her child. The need is a hotel room for a week in the area her child is placed so they could have adequate time to be with each other. The mother has worked very hard and definitely deserves much needed quality time with her child. The foster mother from the other state has bought the plane tickets and is unable to fund a hotel that is close to the child which is why they would have to stay with family that isn't close to where the child is. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

The family is in need of a crib or pack and play for the infant in the home to have a safe place to sleep. The family needs an additional lock to prevent the children from leaving the home. There are 2 young children in the home that can unlock the existing lock on the front door.

Foster parents need size 5 diapers. There are two toddlers in the home that wears the same size. Currently, the toddlers wear Huggies brand (Walmart $70 for 132 count). Foster parents do not have the funds to meet this need and are asking for any help. Family members have been helping to supply diapers; however, this is an urgent need because the children needs diapers. This will help with maintaining placement. Thank you in advance.

I have a grandmother who has placement of her three grandchildren. She is currently in need of a gas card to help her get through to her next payday. This will ensure she can get the children to all their appointments and the oldest to and from school.

A mother is currently in trial reunification of her 5 children. They just moved and are in need of 2 twin bunk beds and 4 mattresses. Any assistance with this need is very much appreciated! Thank you!

The natural mother is currently with child and visiting her 4 year old son weekly. She is homeless and stays at the Day Center. We are asking assistance with a one month bus pass for her to get to scheduled visits and service providers listed on her current treatment plan. She was previously employed, but at this time she is back to seeking employment. Thank you.
