I want to submit a request for a mother currently going through a difficult time and needs support. She urgently needs clothing for herself, as she is facing significant financial hardship. Any assistance we can provide whether through donations, vouchers, or community resources would be greatly appreciated and would help alleviate some of the immediate stress she is experiencing.

girl (5), is in need of underwear and is being cared for by her aunt and uncle who have three other small children. The child is not yet potty trained and her aunt and uncle are trying to stay away from pull ups during the day. The child is going through underwear as she still having accidents. The family could use assistance with buying two new packs of underwear so they can continue to help her through the potty training process.

This is an amazing family with amazing kids who make our schools better! Mom recently had a baby and is trying to make sure all kids are taken care of, especially the newborn. We need support with food, diapers and formula. Thank you in advance for your support!

Youth is in need of a visa gift card to purchase summer clothes. The weather is changing and is beginning to be hot outside. Youth has plenty of winter clothes but has limited summer clothes.

The Department is working with a family whose 6-month-old daughter is currently placed out of the home while they address the concerns which caused the case to open. The family is in need of assistance with the purchase of formula for their visits. They are struggling with this expense after taking time off of work to attend numerous medical appointments for their baby. These parents are engaged in all aspects of their case, having frequent, extended visits with their baby, and are eager to move their case forward. Baby is on Similac Total Comfort Formula and we are requesting up to 3 cans. Any assistance with this need so that parents can continue to work towards reunification is greatly appreciated!

Two children ages 7 and 16 were placed with a kin-like provider. The kinship provider also has four of their own children. The kinship provider is on a single-income and is struggling financially so, they are not able to purchase groceries for the household. The family is requesting help with a gift card to Walmart or King Soopers to help purchase groceries for the household. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

The Department is looking to have a possible kinship placement fly from Iowa to Colorado to visit with the child to being working on the bond with the child who is under the age of 1. The kinship placement completed an ICPC that was approved and the Department is exploring a placement with the family on the ICPC. The child has not yet met this kinship placement and is needing to begin working on creating a bond so they can have a smooth transition if it is approved for her to move out of state. This will support a plane ticket for two adults. Thank you!

Hello! I have a single mother that is in need of getting help for some car repairs so that she and her daughter can get back to South Dakota by the end of next week. The child was previously being cared for by extended family, however due to serious allegations, she is unable to go back to them and her mother is needing to relocate with her out of state. The family has been through a lot of trauma and the father is no longer living. Her car is in need of a new muffler, oil change, and possibly new brakes. This mother would greatly appreciate the help. Thank you!

Single mother of a 7 year old girl and a 2 year old boy is in need of a bunk bed for her apartment for a space for her children to sleep. The children are currently sleeping with her on a queen mattress but have now moved into a 2 bedroom apartment with the space to fit a bunk bed. The family would need a bunk bed with mattresses, bedding and pillows. The 7 yr old really loves spiderman

We have a student that is unable to purchase the equipment he needs in order to be successful in school. Our student needs speech to text beyond the school building and unfortunately, we are unable to provide him with any device that would be able to leave the school. We are asking for a computer that he could utilize in school and at home; his current computer is literally falling apart. His family has had significant struggles over the last year with another child being hospitalized for a few months, parents losing and gaining jobs at different times, and their student having special needs that they are unable to provide for.
