This family has just recently moved into a new home after looking for over a year. They also have recently welcomed a new baby into the family. They did not have the ability to get everything needed to care for the new baby and some things had to be left at their old place. Any help is very appreciated by the family.

The family needs: Baby Items (except for a crib), Pots and Pans, Bedding (Queen), Baking Sheets and Pans (Small), Shelves and Storage (The home is very small so they need to make as much use of the space as they can), Plates, Bowls, Cups, and Silverware, Convection Microwave (There is no oven nor the space for it), Cutting board, Cooking Knives, Crockpot

This family of eight need a new starter for their vehicle. The family has many appointments and activities they attend as well as needing a vehicle to get to work, school, and to take care of things like grocery shopping. Without a working vehicle the family has to rely on rides that are not always available or able to fit all of them or walk far distances in sometimes not ideal conditions.

This pregnant mom and her family are trying to move into a new apartment by the end of the month when their lease ends. She has to pay off a lease from a previous apartment before she is able to move into a new place. We are working on long-term planning for jobs, housing, and childcare. However, she is unable to move forward on any of those until she has this lease paid off and has a place to stay at the end of the month. She has about half of it saved up so far and needs about $500 to finally end that debt!

A kinship family recently took placement of their two young grandsons, providing them with the stability and love they desperately need. However, like many relatives who step in during times of crisis, they were not financially prepared for the sudden addition of two growing boys to their household.

At the moment, both children are sharing a single queen bed, which is not a sustainable or comfortable long-term solution. Each child needs their own bed—a space of their own to rest, grow, and feel secure. Separate beds will not only support the children's physical and emotional well-being, but also help preserve the stability of this new family arrangement.

We are seeking two twin mattresses and bed frames to meet this urgent need. Your donation will help ensure this family can remain together in a safe and supportive environment.

On 05/27/2025 mom identified needing urgent help with electric bill as electric is about to be shut off. There are four children in the home ranges ages 9 months, 6yo, 9yo & 15yo. MO has recently been approved for Section 8 housing and is actively searching for housing as the family is currently living in a very small 2 bedroom apartment. MO also reported needing assistance for clothes for the CH and food. (CPS gave MO resources- United Way One Page)

Mother reported to CPS worker that she does not have money to pay her rent. Currently she is living with one child in a one bedroom apartment in Wichita. She is employed full-time. Mother also recently found out she's pregnant and is not sure of her due date. Money for rent will need to be sent to Mullen Court Apartments.

Hey family, while we are continuing to "help people intentionally" I have an adult female that has been homeless for two long years. She was released from confinement (arrested for domestic disturbance) and upon returning to her home she found that her family had evacuated the home and she was given an eviction notice. This meant she had to start anew, and she was able to do odd jobs to earn money while actively looking for permanent work. While going to AA and NA meetings (self directed, not required) unfortunately she was robbed of $700 and doesn't have $500 for rent this month. Her goal is to reunite with her 3 children in a safe and stable home.

Just to update the information initially taken, these children that are in the home are grandchildren. She came into our agency and got clothing for them.
