Single mom with 8 children is requesting assistance with obtaining a new/used dryer. She reported it takes almost an entire day for the clothes to dry and there are 9 people total living in the home, making it difficult for her to be caught up on laundry.

A single pregnant mama is in urgent need of funds to obtain her birth certificate. With her birth certificate, she can apply for housing assistance, secure employment, and register for benefits that will provide stability for herself and her baby. A young single mother and her 3 children are in need of one bed for the 5-year-old girl. She would need a full set for her bed including a mattress, bed frame, and bedding as the mother does not currently have the financial stability to be able to provide this for her daughter. The mother is currently not able to work as one of her children is medically fragile and is his full-time caregiver. This bed would not only lift the financial burden for the mother, but it would also greatly help the young girl be able to sleep comfortably in a safe space.

I am currently working with a newly single mother who has recently left a domestic violence marriage. After years of abuse, she courageously chose to walk away in order to protect herself and her children. Her former partner was the primary financial provider, leaving her to start over with very limited resources. She is now employed at a local school, but her income is not enough to cover basic living expenses, legal fees, and the cost of raising her children. She is also in the middle of an ongoing legal battle to protect her family, while her abuser continues to intimidate and create obstacles. Despite these challenges, she remains strong in her decision not to return to the abusive situation. This mother is in urgent need of financial assistance to help cover housing, utilities, and essential needs. She would greatly benefit from access to affordable or pro bono legal representation, as well as connection to a supportive community to walk alongside her in this new season of life. Any financial help, resources, or referrals to programs that support survivors of domestic violence would have an immediate and lasting impact on her and her children.

I am writing on behalf of a single father who is currently facing a difficult and urgent situation. This father is the sole caretaker of his 5yo son, who has been diagnosed with autism. He has recently relocated to Rockwall in an effort to provide a safer and more stable environment for his child. Prior to their move, the child endured systemic abuse while living in Louisiana — abuse that was reportedly inflicted not only by multiple organizations but also by his biological mother. Due to the severity of the situation, the father was granted sole custody and made the decision to leave Louisiana and start over in Texas, far from the trauma and instability of their past. Currently, this father and son are residing in a hotel while he seeks stable housing and resources for his child. Despite reaching out to numerous organizations for help, he continues to struggle to secure affordable housing. He could benefit from any form of financial assistance or access to programs that can help him secure stable housing. Assistance with deposits, rental support, or access to transitional housing programs would be life-changing for this family. Additionally, any resources specifically designed to support children with autism would be greatly appreciated. This family is committed to rebuilding their lives in Rockwall and contributing positively to their new community.

A young mother of 2 children, both under the age of 2, is needing help with getting clothing for herself and the children. She is currently on bed rest from giving birth and is unable to work at this time. The mother is also in need of a support system as she has moved states alone.

Baby supplies needed- Clothing for a 1 year old boy and 2 month old girl. Clothing for mother- sizes s-m, pants size 2 or 25-26. Undergarments needed as well

This is a family of 7 who are struggling financially at this hard time in life. The father is working but is just not able to compete with the bills from this past winter weather. The large bills have caused them to fall behind on bills due this month. The children are (1F, 6F, 8F, 10F, 11M). Any amount towards the bills is appreciated. This family is a single mother with 3 children. 13 yr old has Type 1 diabetes. The youngest just turned 1 yrs old. Mother has financial issues and sometimes cannot afford medical supplies that Medicaid does not cover. Like testing strips. Mother just returned to work from non-paid maternity leave and had some medical issues of her own. Food stamps does not cover food through the whole month. 13 yr old female needs med size underwear, size 8 shoes, size 2 pants (teen) med and med shirts. 9 yr old male needs, size med 9-10 pants and shirts, underwear and size 5 boy's shoes. Baby boy wears 18 months clothing and size 3 infant shoes. Size 4-5 diapers. Enfamil Gentlease in purple can.

The family has received the twin bed. I see where donations have been made but I have not received any of the donations to give to the family.
