The husband continues to be detained at Stewart Detention Center, despite the family's efforts to secure legal representation. The mother, who is doing her best to care for the family, recently had to spend $400 on an eye exam and glasses, which placed additional strain on their already limited finances. The glasses are essential to her youngest child as she receives special education services. At this time, the family is seeking support to cover a Georgia Power bill totaling $211. Any help toward this need would provide great relief and stability for the household during this difficult period. Your continued generosity and care for this family is deeply appreciated.

His single mother, raising six children on her own, has been supported him juggling school meetings, doctor visits, and daily responsibilities, all while keeping hope alive for her children’s futures. Now, with the right medical support, he’s finally on the path to success. But, in order to continue progressing he will need glasses as his vision is not clear. With the first day of school just around the corner, we’re seeking a $200 pledge to cover the cost of an eye exam and prescription glasses through our trusted, discounted partner on Atlanta’s Upper Westside. These glasses may seem small- but to this student, they represent focus, confidence, and the chance to finally thrive. The glasses are also necessary as he is beginning his academic individualized education plan. Your support can make a life changing difference for his education. A single mother is working tirelessly to reunify with her 5-year-old son, who has severe asthma. She has already secured a safe and stable home and is just one step away from being fully ready. She needs a humidifier to help ease his breathing and create a healthier environment. Her father, who has been her only support and is currently caring for her son, has already done so much. She hopes to take this final step on her own, wanting to demonstrate that she’s ready and capable of providing her son with the care and stability he deserves.

A single mother is facing a challenging time as she works hard to support her 15-year-old son. She is in need of a queen-sized mattress set to ensure he has a comfortable place to sleep. Any assistance you can provide would mean the world to her and her son during this difficult period.

The client is a 27-year-old single mother of two daughters, ages 6 and 10. She lost her full-time job three months ago, and it has been an uphill struggle ever since. Although she receives unemployment benefits, the amount is not sufficient to cover rent, utilities, and basic needs for her children. The children's father is absent from their lives, and the client’s limited support system is no longer able to provide financial assistance. She is actively and diligently searching for employment in hopes of regaining stability. The past three months have been especially traumatic for the entire family. The client is currently facing the risk of having her electricity disconnected and is seeking assistance to cover her electric bill. Her rent is $1,150 per month, and while she is doing her best to keep up, it often comes at the expense of other essential needs. The client is requesting financial support to help her regain footing and secure employment. She is motivated to rebuild stability for herself and her children but needs short-term assistance to move forward.

A young life student's mother reached out requesting assistance with their light bill. If they do not pay the full amount services will be shut off July 30th. Students mother has been very sick and unable to work and is no longer insured. This would greatly bless them. If able to meet this request I will give you this mothers info so she can direct you to pay their bill of 392.50

This request is for a young couple who is raising two small children in an extended stay hotel. These young adults (20 and 18 years old) are the parents to two beautiful little boys. The young adults find themselves on their own as their parents are also trying to navigate their own lives. After the family was evicted from a home due to the error one of their parents, this young family lived with different family members and friends. For the last couple of months, they have been living independently in an extended stay motel. The young dad is working and normally pays for their stay biweekly. Unfortunately, costs related to transportation to get to work has decreased the funds to pay for the next two weeks of their stay. With assistance, the family will be able to resume paying. The 18-year-old mom is looking for employment on a shift opposite of her boyfriend. This will allow them to provide care and oversight for their children while working. They have enrolled in a program to assist them with a security deposit and first month’s rent once they locate and qualify for their own apartment. The biweekly amount for the extended stay is discounted compared to the daily amount. The family is currently paid through today. Any amount that is received will allow the family to stay an additional day. If the family is unable to remain at the extended stay, they will likely need to split up so the young mom and her children will become eligible to move into a shelter.

Dear community, we are reaching out to support a hardworking single mother of four who has recently lost her full-time job cleaning hotel rooms due to a drop in bookings. She is now only working two days a week and actively looking for more work. Her job search has been especially difficult due to her legal status in this country, but despite the challenges, she remains hopeful. She is not currently receiving food stamps or child support, which has made it even harder to stay afloat.

She is now short on rent for July 1st, especially after falling behind on her electricity bill. Our organization is stepping in to help with groceries, and basic needs — and we are also working to help her find additional resources. We are doing everything we can to help her and her children stay in their apartment and avoid eviction.

The family is appreciative of any assistance provided.
