You have helped this family before. This family needs assistance with groceries. In the past, the family has gone to food pantries but reported they do not provide enough food to feed everyone and it is only on certain days. This is challenging due to issues with transportation. They have to borrow a vehicle. There are four adults in the household. One of the adults is on disability and the other has medical problems and therefore cannot work. There are two children in the household. Due to health issues and transportation issues, it would be easier for them to have groceries brought to them. They like hamburger, chicken nuggets, pizza bites, veggies, bread, eggs, sugar, juice, milk, cheese, pasta. Guardian reported they like anything and are not picky, they just want meals, snacks and water). Whatever provided would be helpful. They also are in need of baby things like (Huggies little mover size 4), Children's Tylenol liquid grape Flavor, and Huggies wipes. The child has reactions to things, so Huggies is the only brand they use.

This family has two little children, both under 2 years old, and their mother urgently needs reliable transportation. She depends on her vehicle to take her kids to essential doctor’s appointments and to get to work every day. Right now, her car tires are worn out and unsafe. We’re asking for a Visa gift card to help her buy new tires and keep her family moving safely.

Please consider this family. Children are currently placed with grandmother while mom completes her parenting classes and other services. Grandmother would love for her and the children to ride the bicycle in the afternoons. Children are in need of some bicycles. Both children are boys, and the sizes would be 24" and 18". Please consider this family. Single mom needs some help fixing her windows at her house. There are 3 broken windows, and one window needs plexiglass fixed. Mom has suffered from domestic violence and is wanting to move out of her home to start over. To do that, she would need her windows repaired. Mom does not really have the resources to fix them. She would greatly appreciate the help from the community.

Child is currently placed with paternal great aunt. This is a kinship placement process with this family. Parents have not been taking formula for the child, due to having visitation suspended. There was a CarePortal request for Gentle Ease Enfamil, but wrong formula was delivered. DSS is asking for assistance with this in the form of formula, or a gift card to Walmart so that she may purchase, though aunt is currently recovering from knee surgery and not able to drive..

A family of 6 is currently in emergent need of housing. The family is comprised of two grandparents caring for their four granddaughters; one of which is only a few weeks old. This family has recently been evicted from their home and have been staying in a motel while searching for housing, however, they will no longer have the funds to continue their stay past 6/17. With no housing the children are at risk of coming into foster care as they need a safe environment to reside. This risk could be resolved with the extension of the motel while the Department assists the family in finding housing.

A single mother of two small children that is also expecting a new child in August who is in need of some assistance. Mom is unemployed at this time as she moves closer to her due date of the new baby. Her oldest daughter is need of a car seat were she has out grown her current seat. She is a 48 lb. toddler.

The family consists of mom and her three children. She works hard to care for them. She has requested assistance with new beds for the two oldest children (twin bed frame + mattress) as well as diapers for the youngest child. The family currently has bunk beds but the mattresses have worn out and the mother has requested two separate beds for the children, rather than bunk beds. DSS is also assisting with putting in referrals for services for the family. Please consider helping this family!

I am writing to request support for a family in our community who has been facing significant challenges this year. A devoted grandmother is currently caring for four young children, one of whom has autism & is receiving support services to help manage behavioral and developmental concerns. The children’s mother has recently returned to the children’s lives & the family has been working diligently to create a stable, supportive, & nurturing environment for the children. Outdoor play is an important part of the children’s daily routine, for all the children, but especially for one child who uses it as a coping mechanism. Unfortunately, their lawnmower recently broke, & the grass has grown too tall for safe and comfortable play. The grandmother has made efforts in trying to cut the grass with a pair of scissors, but it’s causing more physical issues with her back. Due to the overgrown grass, the children are now spending most of their time indoors, which has been difficult for them. I am reaching out to see if there is any assistance available to provide this family with a functioning push lawnmower so the children can once again enjoy their time outdoors. Any support would be deeply appreciated. This simple tool would make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of this family & help them continue creating a safe, happy space for their children. Daughter is placed with her grandmother who helped raise her. Caretaker does work with school, but is out for 3 months and on fixed income, she needs help with some necessities. Child needs personal items like underwear and socks and shoes, some clothing. FSS Brown is asking CarePortal for a Walmart gift card.

A child came into care in April 2025 and was recently placed in a fictive kinship placement. Child is currently 22lbs and his infant carrier is rated up to 25lbs. Family is in need of a new car seat for child.
