I have a mom who just started her trial home visit and daycare won’t start till later in the month. Because daycare won’t start Monday, this mom is having to miss work and her job has really been understanding but she can’t miss 11 days of work. She is needing help with self pay until state pay kicks in.

The family is struggling, and an older sibling stepped in to take the younger siblings into their home. Adding three additional people into the home has created a financial burden on the older sibling, and they could benefit from a gas card and groceries.

Food bank/pantries in the area will be provided to the family as well, but in the meantime, they could use immediate assistance as the older sibling works.

This 17-year-old male, currently residing in a foster home, is actively striving to excel in his education and personal growth. His commitment to doing well in school highlights his determination and desire for a better future. Seeking rental assistance in the amount of $500 is a crucial step to preserve his current placement, ensuring he has a stable and supportive environment that fosters his continued development. She is nearing one year of sobriety, has bravely left a domestic violence situation, and has fought to get the support her children need to thrive. Now, she’s taking the next step toward stability - securing a home where she can plant roots and truly take ownership! However, the home needs a lot of work. Demolition, paint, cabinets, flooring, and more. It’s not move-in ready, and we can’t do this alone. We need the community’s help to turn this space into a safe, welcoming home for her and her children. This is more than just a renovation. Seeking support for a single mother and her son who are in the final stages of reunification after several years apart due to foster care involvement. This family has worked hard to rebuild their bond and is very close to being together again full-time.

The mother recently secured a new home; however, the refrigerator in the unit is non-functional. In order to ensure a safe and stable environment for her son, we are requesting assistance in obtaining a working refrigerator as soon as possible.

A mother and her 3 children (2, 3 & 5 years old) are at risk of losing their housing due to ongoing housekeeping concerns. She has been working closely with me to improve the condition of the home, and throughout this process, I learned that she doesn’t have many of the basic items she needs to keep things clean and livable. She has no towels or washcloths for herself or the children, and no cleaning supplies beyond the very basics. This family is in need of towels, washcloths, a mop and bucket, cleaning rags, and floor cleaner. Meeting this need will give her the tools to care for her home, support her in maintaining stable housing, and help create a cleaner, healthier environment for her kids.

Family has recently experienced significant violence. The victim was targeted for his car. A tracking device was placed on it, he was ambushed, and shot six times. The shooting occurred while the entire family was home. The victim is currently hospitalized and will be out of work. The family is currently being relocated for safety concerns. The family is in need of groceries at this time, and to help the family focus on the victim's healing. They have been spending most of their time at the hospital. The victim is 22 years old. He was a contributing member to the family's income. Any help with groceries for this family, would be greatly appreciated!

Kids don’t have winter clothes that fit and are missing school because they don’t have clean clothes to wear. Due to the weather getting colder, it is becoming more urgent that the kids have access to warm clothing that fits. Winter clothes for a female child age 9, a female child age 14, and a male child age 14. The youngest female is a size 7 or 8 in pants and shirt. Oldest male is a size 32-34 in pants and a large in shirt. Oldest female is a size large in shirt and pants. The kids are each needing winter coats, hats, gloves, and any long pants or shirts.
