Young woman has revealed she has been sleeping on the floor and is growing in using her voice to speak her need.

QS bedframe is needed for improved sleep & she is learning that "ask you will receive" is a closer reality than she ever thought.

Single mom who is facing financial hardship and is expecting would appreciate assistance obtaining an infant bathtub. Item in new condition appreciated.

I’m requesting groceries for a young woman and her 3-year-old child who were recently living in their car. We’ve temporarily placed them in an Airbnb through Friday, and they need food to get through the rest of the week. There are no known allergies. We’re hoping to receive the groceries within the next 24 hours.

Here’s a list of requested items:

Fruit juice

Noodles

Mustard & ketchup (for sandwiches)

Hot Pockets

Ground beef

Hamburger buns

French fries

Peanut butter & jelly

Cereal & milk

Vegetables (any kind)

Can be sent directly to the young lady.

Homeless mother needs gas for her car to get to her emergency housing and to maintain her part time job

Young woman is reentering from jail back to Turntable Housing She is in need of an Amtrak ticket to get to SF, groceries and a new Bible

We want to set her up for loving success to get back to the Bay Area and re-acclimated. We have her a therapist ready to go as well, all taken care of!

An 8 year old child was placed with her adult sister. The adult sister has two children of her own, who are also in the home. The 8 year old child is in need of a twin bed, including a frame, mattress and bedding. There is minimal storage space for the 8 year old's belongings, so a dresser would be helpful as well. Getting these items would help preserve this placement, as we want the child to remain in this relative's home. The caregiver recently moved to a bigger home to accommodate the 8 year old, so the family needs additional support with these items for the child.

Young woman is homeless and actively looking for work. She is very engaged in the process of job hunting, and needs to both finsih her reusme and be available for email responses for jobs & potential zoom interviews. She is in need of a surface or laptop to enable this.

This crucial next step will help her find a place to live to prevent going to a Shelter.

Samantha is an 18 year old foster youth living in Transitional Housing. She is enrolled at DVC and taking general education classes, hoping to pursue a degree in Nutrition. She is very passionate about health and well-being. She tries to eat all natural, plant-based foods, and exercises regularly. She is a very positive person and she is feeling good about her progress, but she's having trouble sleeping. The bed she has is very uncomfortable and her Transitional Housing Program said they are unable to replace her bed. A comfortable twin bed would be ok, but if a full sized bed is possible, that would make her really happy, allowing her more space to spread out and study. When I asked her if she would like a study pillow, she hadn't seen one before but was very interested so if that is possible, she would enjoy a pink or black one. Samantha is a very spiritual person and expresses her gratitude frequently. She expressed her gratitude in advance of this request and is hopeful she can get support to get some better sleep! thank you!

We are working with a single mother of two small children ages four and one. This family has just moved into a new apartment and relocated to a better community. The mother is working on making the space feel more like a home. The family has very limited belongings and needs assistance with getting beds and household items. It would make a difference daily and mean a lot to them to have this help.

A young adult woman is preparing to start a new job as a caregiver, a role she’s worked hard to secure after a long and challenging journey. She’s in need of scrubs to begin this position but is currently unable to afford them. She’s simply asking for a bit of help to get started. Once she begins working, she’s confident she’ll be able to support herself moving forward.

We have 4 or 5 young ladies that participate in our program, and are in need of some uplifting and encouragement. They desire to attend the new Chosen Movie together. We want to bless them with tickets, popcorn and drinks, and maybe a little candy. 😀 Please help us bless these girls so they can have some much needed positive activity in their lives.
