OKDHS is working a prevention case with a young mother of 4 children. This mother has no safe or appropriate family support and has been struggling with the cost of getting her kids to daycare so she can work. She must have the 3 younger kids in daycare but she has used all her money getting rides to the daycare. She has a ride to get them home but she has to Uber herself and the kids there in the morning. She does not get paid until Friday and she needs the kids to be in daycare until then to keep them safe and to provide them with adequate supervision while she works. We are asking for help providing this mom the means to get her kids to daycare for the rest of the week. Thank you for considering this extremely urgent need! This young single mom has no support and has been working hard to provide everything for her kids herself and needs some support.

Bio mom needs help with gas to go to weekly family times in the Tulsa area. It would help her out and remove the barriers for her.

Bio mom doesn't have transportation and uses the gift card when she doesn't have a ride from friends and family to get services, court and work. Bio mom family time is progressing and the gift card would help her remove the barrier of transportation so she can have more family time with her child.

We have a family who just moved into the area and are on the adoption route for their foster child. The family has had a string of bad luck with their car breaking down and now foster dad has broken his hand at work and will be unable to go back for a while. The family is in desperate need of assistance with their water bill. It is due to be shut off at any moment. Utility shut off greatly affects the placement of the child and we would love the family to be able to stay together and continue down their road of adoption of this sweet boy. If you can please help this family with this very urgent need, we would be so grateful! Thank you!

I have two children currently in foster foster care. These kids share a closet and an unfortunate accident happened in the foster home where the children's clothes were infested with mold and ants. The foster parents tried to salvage what clothes they could but unfortunately most of the clothes needed to be thrown out. leaving the children with a small amount of clothing left. the foster parents are working to try to replace the clothes but any additional help that could be provided to these kids would be greatly appreciated.

Single mother of a five-year-old son is currently 8 months pregnant. Mom works a full-time job in a nursing home to provide for her family's financial needs. Mom is currently sleeping on an air mattress which has been difficult for her to sleep, more so now since she is 8 months pregnant. Mom is asking for help for a full-size or queen size mattress and box springs.

The family consists of a young mother and father. Both parents were extremely proud to be parents of their beautiful little child. This child changed their entire lives for the better, and their entire world revolved around their baby... their lives were just beginning. Recently, the unthinkable happened and these young parents lost their new baby due to a tragic accident. The young family has sustained costs they never imagined and neither are able to work due to planning the ceremony for the loss of their baby. One of the needs the family needs met at this time is the cost of their rent in the amount of $400. It is due on 07/01/25. Please consider meeting this family's need during one of the darkest seasons of their lives. I know the generosity of the community will not be forgotten once they're able to get through the darkness of this terrible time in their lives. Foster mom has one infant that she is fostering who is six months old. Foster mom is needing a crib for the infant as the infant is more active and rolling around. Foster mom already has a full-size crib mattress, so she is needing assistance with just the crib frame. The infant is sleeping in a pack and play; however, she continues to roll around along the mesh side, and foster mom feels that the infant would sleep safer in a crib.

Client is a single mother with a 3-month-old baby boy who is doing her best to provide for her child but is facing financial challenges and could greatly benefit from the donation or support of a gently used or new stroller. Having a stroller would make a significant difference in her daily life, allowing her to safely and more easily transport her child while attending appointments, running errands, looking for employment, and commuting. It would help ease her burden and give her more independence and mobility as she continues to build a stable life for herself and her baby.

Hello, this is a new emergency placement. There is a total of 5 children. Beds and car seats are an urgent need. This is a newer case to OKDHS and meeting this need will allow the foster family to accept placement of the children. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

A young person is aging out of DHS and going into Thunderbird Program in hopes to prepare him for a career in the military. Thunderbird has a packing list for their cadets that costs about $333. If this request speaks to you, you would be helping out a great young person trying to find his place in society. Thank you.

In our program we provide a snack each day that our children come to our Summer Kid's Club. These children are in our care during many hours that they would be left unattended and many only eating once per day. We provide lunch and snack. We also bridge the learning gap that happens to many during the summer. Keeping their little bellies full helps to open their minds to instruction and care. We prefer a fruit or veggie along with something like gold fish or peanut butter crackers. We really would be happy with any snacks provided.
