A single mother of 5 children is being evicted from her home. On 5/17/25 she paid her rent and signed a noticed that she needed to give up her home in 60 days because the owners need the home to rent it to one of their relatives. On the contract, it does not state the family needs to pay the rent of June. The owners are evicting her on Friday 6/13/25 because she will not pay her last month rent. The sheriff's were involved and they told her that since it was not on the notice that she signed, she does not have to pay the last months rent and can stay the 60 days, but the owners want her to leave on 6/13/25 because she is not willing to the pay the last month rent. Mom is seeking legal advice to be able to stay the 60 days as stated in the notice, but that may be additional funds she may need to spend. Mom does not work but receives CALFRESH to pay for rent/food/gas and other resources. She found a new home in Lake Elsinore but it asks for 1200 in rent plus 1200 deposit. With her CALFRESH and borrowed money from her mom she is able to collect $2000, but is still in need of $400. She will also need assistance with her bills, but at the moment she only needs help with $400 for the new place. Mom is in desperate need in order to provide for her 5 children. Please help this family get back on track.

A dedicated single mother in our community is in urgent need of car repair assistance. After experiencing significant health challenges and a period of homelessness, she has worked incredibly hard to rebuild her life. She recently secured stable housing and employment and continues to fight for her family's well-being. This mom has been doing everything she can to get back on her feet and support her child. She even advocated for her child to receive after-school tutoring, and thanks to her persistence, it was finally approved. Just as things were starting to fall into place, her only mode of transportation broke down. Now she's facing new challenges, including getting to work, keeping her apartment, and having to pay for multiple Uber trips a day to ensure her child gets to school and receives the help she truly needs from the tutoring program. We are requesting help to cover the cost of car repairs to keep this resilient mother moving forward. She is currently working with a mechanic who has been understanding of her situation and is being patient with the payment, but support is still urgently needed. Your support can make a lasting impact by helping her sustain employment, housing, and her child's access to academic support. We appreciate any help this mom can get. This request is for a refugee family of 7 who recently moved from a small furnished apartment to an unfurnished one. They are asking for a refrigerator that is in good working condition. Since they live in an apartment, the ideal size would be between 20 and 24 cu ft. Style is not essential.

The father has only been able to secure work two days a week, and the mother stays at home to care for the five children. The father attends school to continue improving his English skills, which will give him more employment opportunities.

We have an opportunity to bless a lovely lady with two small kids that has just completed her transition from homelessness to getting an apartment of her own. She’s worked really hard and would love some assistance getting some basic pieces of furniture secured. We have been able to provide a queen size bed and frame as well as two toddler beds with mattresses and bedding for everyone. We still need some assistance finding two small dressers for this family.
