The family currently has an open case for neglect and struggling keep up with payments and needs assistance with getting the children new clothes. Mom is living paycheck to paycheck and really needs assistance with clothes for her 7 children.

Mother and her three children are moving to a new apartment to ensure her children's safety. Mother just left a domestic violence relationship. Mother needs assistance getting items for the new apartment. Providing these items for this family will help Mother financially, improve the children's well-being, and create stability. Mother requested assistance with getting a dining room table, a toddler bed frame and mattress, and a dresser/stand to put a TV on in their new living room. The family could use any additional household products to help Mother financially, such as toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning supplies. The family is grateful for any and all help given. The "dresser" listed in the needs section is for the tv stand/dresser. Thank you!

Mother reached out to advocate requesting help with a washer & dryer. She is a single mother of children ages 11, 13, 14, 15 and 17 along with two adult children. She was renting these appliances from a company and could not keep up and they removed them from the home. This request would help ensure the children have clean clothing and improve their hygiene and wellbeing.

Single Father needing gas card until next paycheck and groceries. Get paid in next two weeks but has limited food in the fridge to make meals in the home. Will be able to maintain providing moving forward.

The family of three is in need of three mattresses, bed frames, and dressers. Mom has worked tirelessly to reunify with her children and is currently on trial home visits. While she has done everything asked of her to bring her family back together, they are still without some of the most basic essentials to help make their house a home.

A 17-year-old female was recently placed with her 22-year-old sister. Both young ladies have been in the child welfare system for many years, and the older sister has successfully completed the Collaborative Care program. She now works full-time, has her own home, and is raising her own young child.

Placement is happy to have her sister in her home and has been proactive with ensuring her sister is getting all the services and assistance she needs as she begins transitioning into adulthood. However, her own income is limited, and she is unable to purchase a bed needed for her sister. Having a bed would ensure that the younger sister has a safe and appropriate sleeping area, enabling her to stay in placement with her sister. The younger sister (ward) also struggles with bed wetting, which is being addressed medically and therapeutically. Mattress covers and bedding are also needed.

A single mother has 4 children who are placed approximately 30-40 minutes from her. Mother's current car does not accommodate for her to transport all of her children. Mother has another vehicle that can accommodate the children, although it in need of repair. Mother needs to have the vehicle repaired so that she can ensure she makes it to her visitation with her children and can take them places in case of an emergency. Mother already has the car at a repair shop.

Paternal Grandmother was reunited with her granddaughter once a DCS case opened. This three year old came with only clothes that are a size to small and the wrong season. The child is also potty training and washing the clothes everyday is become hard on grandma. Grandma has asked for assistance with a full week of clothes and pull ups that are size 5T. and size 10 in children's shoes.

I am requesting a twin be and bedding for a child placed in a relative home. They have income but they have their own child and expecting second child. The child placed in their home using one of their step child's bed. In summer he comes to visit his father. He came two days ago and using his bed. The child placed in the home needs a bed. Without a proper bed the family will not able to meet basic living standard for her. The family is committed to create a safe and stable environment, and receiving this assistance would greatly support preserve the placement.

Mother and female child (3) are in need of summer clothes. Mom is a full time college student and works full time from home usually until 8 pm Monday-Friday.
The 3 year old wears 4T/5T in clothes and she loves Minnie Mouse and colorful clothes. Mother is looking for any work out wear for the gym. She is in a XL and women’s underwear in XL and socks.

Please note that underwear and socks should be new.

I am requesting a crib and a crib mattress for a Relative Resource home, in order to comply with the requirements for safe sleep and to preserve the placement in the resource home. The child is placed in a limited income home. The resource parent receives a disability check monthly and currently unable to afford a safe crib. Having a crib is essential not only for child's safety and well being but also to meet the standard of the program. The family continue committed to provide the child a safe and nurture home.

Maternal Grandmother has taken in her 4 year old grandson and 14 year old granddaughter. Currently, the teenager is sleeping on a gym mat and the 4 year old is on a toddler mattress. If a new bed is not identified the children will not have a traditional bed to sleep in. The 4 year old loves sonic, spiderman, batman, and cars. The 14 year old likes pink and purple. We are needing a bunk bed due to space involved. In the event of needing to pick and choose, the bed frame and mattresses are the biggest need.
