We have a foster mom who just took in a teen girl. This teen came with almost nothing to the home and while we were able to provide a mattress, this teen girl still needs a bed frame and some bedding of her very own. She really enjoys her placement and has been dreaming of having her own bed and bedding. She has picked a bed frame out on Amazon that comes with drawers for her clothes and bedding that she will be so proud of. A wonderful long-distance cousin has taken in a sweet little girl who has been through more than most could ever imagine. This little girl has been with the family before and is now back in their home where she will be safe and protected. The cousin was not expecting this placement but will do anything to keep her safe and secure. The little girl is in need of a dresser as she has nowhere to put her belongings and will be going to summer school to catch up and could use a desk for school. To support her transition and create a comforting and stimulating environment, she is in need of the following items:

Bedding & Curtains: A Minnie Mouse-themed bedding set, including a comforter, sheets, and matching curtains (84 inches or shorter), to personalize her space.

Toys & Learning Materials: Age-appropriate toys that promote learning and development, such as educational games, puzzles, and interactive toys. Additionally, she would love Barbie dolls and accessories to encourage imaginative play.

Clothing: clothing, including dresses, tops, pants, and socks, in sizes appropriate for her age. SIZES 5T and up and shoes size 9-10 in girls. Providing these items will not only help in creating a safe and nurturing environment for her but also support her emotional well-being during this significant transition. Your assistance in meeting these needs would be greatly appreciated.

I have a client that is in need of assistance in obtaining the money for a deposit to sober living. Client is a single mother with a new born baby. My client has been fully participating in services, has maintained full time employment and has been able to maintain housing on her own. My client wishes to move into sober living to strengthen her sobriety and keep her child safe. My client's hours have recently been decreased at her place of employment so it has been hard for her to properly care for her little family and afford the deposit to enter into the sober living facility where she has been accepted. This client has worked really hard to keep her child out of foster care and make the changes she needs to ensure her new born is safe. Any help would be greatly appreciated by this client.

We have a natural mother who is in need of transportation assistance to see her child as she does not have the funds to buy a car yet. This mom has worked very hard to travel back and forth from her residence to where her daughter resides and see her weekly. She has been working hard to get on her feet again and is needing help. We are specifically asking for an Embark 30 day unlimited bus pass. If this need is provided for, natural mother will be able to continue in fostering her relationship with her child through family times together during the week.

Hello! A teenage boy has recently been brought into custody, and mom is having trouble reliably getting to Family Time. She is committed to working on services, and has been involved and communicative in the progress of the case. A bus pass would help her become more independent and spend more time with her son. My client, a brave mother of five, had to urgently relocate her family of seven under the protections of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) to escape an unsafe situation. While she was able to get her children to safety, the rushed nature of the move meant she couldn’t safely go back and get her sons beds in time for her three youngest boys, ages 6, 5, and 2. The boys now sleep without the comfort and security of a bed that every child deserves. After everything they’ve endured, these little ones simply need a soft place to rest their heads. We are asking for any assistance in helping this brave mother provide beds for her sons—a small comfort that would mean so much to a family starting over. A single mother of a 6-year-old boy, 5-year-old girl, and 2-year-old girl is completing inpatient substance abuse treatment on 5/15/25 and has been accepted into a transitional living program so she can continue on her path of recovery. Payment of the security deposit, by cash or money order only, is required in order to move in. This mother is currently unemployed due to being in treatment but does have a job waiting for her as soon she relocates. Her children have been able to be with her while she is inpatient, but if she is not able to secure her spot in this transitional living program, she does not have a safe place to go, and the children will have to return to foster care placement until she can get settled somewhere. Assistance with this urgent need will allow this family to remain together and make a fresh start.

I have a young bio parents’ mom (21) and dad (28) that will be traveling to Quapaw, Oklahoma which is a 3-hour trip one way) to visit their 5 months old twins who are in foster care. Dad is the only parent working currently. The parents plan to make this trip every two weeks. The parents have reliable transportation but need assistance in making the trip. The parents last saw their 5 months old twins 05/03, and 05/04 when the foster parents traveled with the 5 months old twins to Oklahoma City.
