Grandparents took in their grandchildren as a last minute request so they had little time to prepare. The kids are 4 and 8 years old, and did not come with much clothing, so they're in need of clothes for the summertime. If they could get help with a giftcard to purchase clothing, that would be so appreciated. They shop at Walmart, Target, Kohls, Ross etc. Any help with any amount and store is greatly appreciated!

A 15yr old female who has been abused, abandoned, and separated from siblings, struggles with her self-worth. She was in a group home setting for the past 3 years. This week she learned her mother was arrested and will be in prison for the remainder of her childhood. She has moved to a foster family and this foster family sees how this adolescent will process her hurts through music. She is requesting a keyboard so she can start to play her own music and process her hurts, her pain, and her fears in this avenue. Foster parents are looking to set her up with piano lessons that will assist in a therapeutic manner. For the piano lesson details, this teen will need an 88 key keyboard that is weighted or semi-weighted. She and this family will be grateful for your support in providing the tool that will support self-worth and processing of hard. We are hoping this tool (the keyboard) will bring joy to this teen's heart.

We are working with a caring grandmother who is taking care of her grandchildren full time, but she was diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy. As a result of the therapy she is losing her hair, and it is causing her a lot of emotional distress, since she is not able to afford a wig. Helping her to feel dignified will make a significant difference in her life and will add to her emotional well-being and also that of her grandchildren.

We're currently working with a family that has had to abruptly move due to their young sons being around negative influences and causing them to get into trouble. Due to the move they're needing help with beds for the children as they are currently sleeping on the floor. The move has been a great positive change for these children and we'd like for them to start getting better sleep.

A young boys grandmother recently took him in due to his parents not being safe. Grandma is a on very fixed income and couljd really use help with clothing for her grandson. She's got her hands full t13c in kids shoes. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have a client with a sweet infant in need. The infant was born with multiple genetic conditions. He is getting surgery on his skull in a month to correct fused sutures (a first step in his upcoming medical journey). At a recent physical therapy appointment, the therapist requested the family get a specific chair for the child to sit in (Go To Link This family is doing an amazing job addressing baby's physical challenges, but they are having a hard time financially. The family looked to some other programs for support in getting the chair but had no luck. The hope is that with this chair, the child will be able to develop appropriate muscle groups and keep his head off the floor once he has his helmet in place (for many upcoming months), making it more comfortable for him.

A bonus request from the nurse: The chair is a priority, but knowing that the family is in a tight financial spot, I would also like to request a large can or two of Enfamil Gentlease Formula (they are on WIC, so they get enough for about 3 weeks of the month...but could use some extra to make sure baby has enough to have nutritional needs met for full month).

I'm working with a single mom who is participating in the Prevention Program, which is voluntary. She just moved to Colorado a few months ago with her four children and does not have any furniture. She works as a CNA and does not have much family support in Colorado. The only furniture this single mom has are beds for her children. She is in need of a bed for herself, large couch, kitchen table, coffee table, and 2 lamps. Her apartment doesn't have a ceiling light. She would really appreciate any help you can provide. A family of two - a single mom and her 11 year old son - are in great need at this time. The mom is unhoused and doing everything she can to get by. She is very resourceful and accesses the public library and various community resources for assistance. She is in need of personal supplies such as hygiene products, non-perishable food items, clothing, and items for her son. She would greatly benefit from a gift card to Walmart to be able to get these supplies. She is working hard to become employed, gain stability, and be able to care for herself and her son, and this gift card would make a huge difference for this family! 2. For mom: Medium clothes, 8 in women's for shoes; for kiddo: 8-10 and a 6 in boys' shoes. They've been homeless for a long time and many of the belongings that she and kiddo once had were stolen, lost, or damaged, so it would be really meaningful for him to have something from mom that he can keep and have with him. He ha very recently been removed from mom and placed in a foster home.

I have two girls (10 and 9) on my caseload, their mom has severe mental health issues, and their dad is incarcerated, and they are being raised by their grandparents who struggle financially. The grandparents are doing the best they can for the girls but they need help getting the girls tablets so they can continue to engage in counseling online, play games and interact with their friends.

Both girls would like a tablet so i am asking for two but one will be good- they share everything so i think it will all be okay if we only receive one.

A pair of brothers, ages 15 and 9 years old have been living in kinship care with their grandparents due to concerns of domestic violence and physical abuse by their stepfather. The boys came to their grandparents with limited clothing and hygiene products. The grandparents were able to get the boys some winter clothing when they came however, now that it is summer, the clothing they have for them is not weather appropriate. They are needing a gift card to be able to go purchase summer clothing that will fit and be appropriate for the boys over the summer. Grandparents live on a very fixed income with them being retired and could use help with getting a gift card.

Single mother requesting some assistance with some clothing for 17 year old- daughter, size L-XL. On limited income, Recently moved into a new apartment and area - due to DV concerns. Would like some assistance in the form of gift cards if possible. New clothing will help kiddo with self-esteem issues.

A family of four is requesting support with two car seats to ensure their children can be transported safely to school and around the city. The children are 5 and 2 years old. This family’s initial contact was for rental assistance due to financial hardship. They were struggling to make ends meet and were experiencing a domestic violence situation, with no household income at the time. An application for rental assistance was submitted; however, due to the 45–60-day period and the risk of eviction, the family chose not to wait . Instead, they decided to rent out a room and are now able to cover the rent difference, but unable to get cover the additional cost of two car seats for their 5-year-old and 1 ½ year children.
