The mother is single with 4 children, one 2 month old. She is on disability and has very limited resources. She provides a loving home for her children in spite of the financial situation and is a great parent to her children. She is in need of beds and bedding for the children as her income does not allow her to afford these things. She has some family support but none that can afford to help her financially.

A single mother currently involved in Family-Based Safety Services (FBSS) is in need of support for her two young children. The newborn (male) requires preemie-sized clothing, crib, basinet, car seat, and preemie size 1 diapers, while the toddler (female) wears size 2T clothing, size 2T underwear, and toddler shoe size 6. The toddler is fully potty trained and no longer requires diapers. Providing these essential items will help reduce financial strain on the caregiver as she has not been able to work lately due to recent accident that led to child's premature birth. These items will also ensure the children's basic needs are met and support the family's ongoing stability as they work toward completing services and maintaining a safe and nurturing home environment.

I am requesting assistance for a mother of four children who is rebuilding her life after domestic violence in the home. She has one daughter, age 7, and three sons, ages 7, 6, and 3. The family is in need of bunk beds and a twin size bed for the boys, who share one room, as well as dressers for both the boys’ room and the daughter’s room. Additionally, the mother is in need of basic household items, specifically pots, pans, and new dishes, to help create a stable and functional home. Providing these items would greatly support this family as they work toward a fresh start and a safe, nurturing environment for the children. Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

A grandmother living in Glenn Heights (Ellis County) with her three year old granddaughter was in an automobile accident during a rain storm that caused her to break two vertebrae in her spine and fracture her ribs. Her car was totaled, She is a CNA, but has been unable to work as she is recovering from her accident. She is in need of $300 to cover her utility payment. We are asking a church to be a blessing to her and see that her utility bill is paid.

Single mother of 3 with one medically fragile child is pregnant and she hasn't had a newborn in her home for 10 years. Assistance with supplies for a new baby in the home would significantly help her financially. Currently unemployed due to 1 child's severe medical needs but will be gaining employment once nursing care is secured. She can use any essential newborn items such as bottles, pacifiers, blankets, burp clothes, baby clothes, baby swing, diapers, and wipes. Mother is due in August.

Please help a mother who is need of a bunk bed, and a dining room table set to furnish her home due to just moving into a home. Helping this mother furnish her home will help her to prepare her home for when her children are returned back into her care and will help with proper sleeping arrangements for the child that she currently has in the home with her.

I am reaching out on behalf of a Spanish-speaking single mother who is in urgent need of rental assistance. She is currently pregnant and caring for two young children—one who is 5 years old and the other just 4 months old. Although she has been working to support her family, her vehicle recently broke down, preventing her from getting to work and resulting in a loss of income. She is now struggling to pay her rent and at risk of falling behind. Due to her current citizenship status, she has had difficulty qualifying for many rental assistance programs and organizations. Any support or resources available to help her during this challenging time would be deeply appreciated.

We are currently working with a dedicated young woman, age 18, who is doing everything she can to support and stabilize her family. She is hoping to gain custody of her younger siblings (ages 15, 16, and 13) because she feels their mother, who is currently unemployed, is not in a position to properly care for them. She has already taken on many of the responsibilities of caring for them and wants to provide them with a more stable and healthy environment.

She was previously employed and regularly visited the food bank to help provide for her family. However, her only mode of transportation recently broke down, which led to the loss of her job and made it impossible for her to continue accessing the food bank. She is actively seeking new employment but is in urgent need of financial assistance for transportation so she can begin to rebuild stability.

In addition to financial help, she would benefit greatly from emotional and community support. She feels overwhelmed and alone in her efforts, yet she remains deeply committed to giving her siblings a better life—one free from the difficult cycle they’ve been living in.

Any assistance with transportation, job referrals, food access, or community support would make a meaningful and lasting impact.

The family is about to get evicted from their home. The family fell behind on payments for rent due to placing their child in daycare. The family is in need of financial assistance in order to pay the rent and be caught up financially. Mother was not working, and the grandmother has been the primary provider for the family. The mother was recovering after her pregnancy, and the father is not in the picture. The mother is currently working on stabilizing herself with employment, so they won't be in this situation again.

Single mother is currently caring for six children; the family is in need of bunk beds. The mother has the mattresses but is in need of the bunk bed frames. This will help the children have their own place to sleep instead of sharing beds with one another.

I have a family who is dealing with a lot of needs with the Mother of the adopted children, adult sibling being the only caregiver having to care for her Mom with severe medical issues including her not being coherent and having mental and vision difficulties, her Autistic son with very angry outbursts, younger sibling who was adopted and has behavioral issues from trauma before she was adopted, and her own medical needs and dealing with a cyst she has. This Adult sibling is trying her hardest to get to all appointments in caring for her family, but it has put a burden on her working, and she hasn't been able to work in the past 4 weeks. Every time the adult sibling tries to leave for work, she is called back to the home to assist in some kind of matter. So, I am requesting for a grocery card to help this family until hopefully she can reapply for food stamps and also a punching bag to help the Autistic Son with his angry outbursts as he likes to punch things when he is angry.

The children are needing twin bunk beds that they can comfortably sleep in with some mattresses provided as well. The mother moved from one location because she had become homeless and moved with what she had.
