Single mom, 5 children. Electricity shut off today!!! They told her they would give her a month but shut it off anyway. Please help if possible. It is too hot for mom and children to be without electricity for long. Thank you so much!!

I have a mother who is a DV victim, and a child under one year of age who has come onto hard times. Mother was employed full time until recently when an incident with her vehicle at no fault of her own, caused the insurance company to total her vehicle. Mom was unable to work while trying to rectify this issue, and it resulted in her being terminated from her job. Due to this, mom is now facing eviction and all of these events have happened to her in the last 30 days. We are working on procuring housing or her entering a shelter, however it would be a blessing for this mother to be gifted a reliable vehicle of any age or mileage so she can transport her daughter and gain employment. If anyone has a vehicle they'd be willing to gift, please consider a single mother so she can provide for her child. Thank you.

I just began working with a mother of a child under the age of 1, who was a DV victim. In the first couple weeks of working with this mother, her home went from a two income home to a single income home; however an accident with her vehicle left her without transportation, the ability to get her child to childcare and then this mom lost her job due to this series of events. Her landlord has given her a 3 day eviction notice. We are in the process of preparing her for having to utilize shelters, maybe getting her into a hotel for a period or finding her a room to rent. Mom is having a yard sale in the next couple days in order to get rid of things and raise money for some kind of housing. Mom and baby are in need of funds to get shelter for enough time for mom to get another job.

This mother is a sweet woman in her early thirties, and the baby is a beautiful little girl whom mom has taken good care of.

Mom needs:

1. Funds for a place to live with her child.
2. A room to rent under $800/month.

If anyone is able to step up and help this mother secure some kind of housing/shelter, it will help keep her sweet little girl out of foster care. I will be working with mom on finding employment, foster care for her elderly dog and budgeting once this emergency is handled. Thank you.

Two caregivers took in a non-relative child, after already caring for 3 other non- relative children. They are in need of a twin size bed and accessories for the little girl that was just placed with them!

The child recently moved from a group home to a relative placement. The child came with very little from the group home. The child has a unique foot shape and needs size wide in shoes; she needs a size 8 wide in shoes and a size medium (adult) clothing. The child is very hard on shoes so durable shoes would be ideal. She is not picky about colors or anything, but she is 9 years old so colors and designs that would appeal to a 9-year-old. 

Non-relative caregivers took in a 11 year old girl, and also raising their 3 children. The child is currently sleeping on the couch, due to not having a bed and the caregivers converting their garage into a room. The child is in need of a twin size bed with the accessories. The caregivers could use some groceries as the children are at home for the summer and eating more.

A family took in a 17 year old female relative. They are both single females that are raising their own children, but said yes to giving this child a safe and happy home. The child came with very few items and is in need of personal hygiene items (toothbrush, toothpaste, face wash, shampoo, conditioner, pads/tampons), under garments, shoes, socks.

Mom is currently a stay-at-home mother caring for her 3-month-old baby boy who is in need of some clothes, size 3-6 months. The older son is in need of twin size sheet sets. Dad does work and is doing his best to provide for his family. I believe it would mean a lot to this family to have a local church reach out to them in love and meet these needs. Caregiver currently has one toddler and is being given placement of the child's toddler sibling. Caregiver is in need of a double stroller to assist as this is a single parent household an in need of a car seat (5 point convertible) to provide transportation to the sibling being placed. This is an adoptive placement on an expedited case.

Child has been placed with aunt, and she has made room for him in her home by creating a room for him. He is 5 and is in need of a toddler bed, sheets, small dresser and any other items to make this room a home.

A kind woman has recently taken a young girl into her home. She is doing her very best to provide for the needs of the girl but she is growing fast! The caregiver mentioned that she purchased new clothing for the girl when she first entered the home and she is already starting to outgrow them! They are requesting any help with getting some properly fitting clothes for this sweet young girl! The caregiver also mentioned that she LOVES Hello Kitty.

Mom has recently been reunified with the children. Mom is single and working two jobs to support herself and the kids. Mom has also been working on obtaining her GED to have the opportunity to attend college to further her education to be able to provide a better life for her children. With the children being home from school for the summer mom is struggling to keep enough food for the family. The fulfillment of this request would greatly benefit the family and connecting with a local church would be a great for the whole family. There are no dietary restrictions for the family. Mom is grateful for whatever help she can get as she tries to make a better life for her children and herself. Mom is trying to get her children added back to her food assistance case and has done the things necessary for that, she is just waiting for the process on that.
