This is a single mother who has gotten out of a DV relationship and has been trying to recover. She has 2 children that she cares for on the daily. Her ex had left her with piled bills and expenses and she's been working consistently to try to fix everything. She's been overworked, overwhelmed, and beyond stressed. She does continue to do odd jobs while looking for an actual job. She's expressed concern because she can't pay her electric bill and it's supposed to be turned off any day now. She is doing her best to pay her mortgage and other bills.

The family's electric will be shut off any day/ any time now. The total is 240.29 This will allow the family to continue to have electric and continue to store their food/ cook.

A kind couple has been caring for a teenage boy in their home. As the new school year is fast approaching, they are requesting any possible help with obtaining clothes and a backpack. We have got the supplies covered and any help is greatly appreciated with getting some clothes and backpack for this sweet boy!

A kind couple has been caring for a little boy in their home. As the new school year is approaching and he is starting kindergarten, the caregivers are asking for any possible help with obtaining some clothes or shoes for the boy. They also mentioned that a backpack would be a greatly appreciate! The caregiver noted that the sweet little boy likes dinosaurs, fishing, and anything superheroes!!! Thank you for any help!

I am working with a single-mom survivor of domestic violence. She has 3 children- ages 16, 14 and 6. The mother lost her job back in September in the healthcare field and has been unable to gain meaningful employment since then. She had unemployment which has now ended. She receives benefits (food stamps/cash assistance) but not much. Her power was cut off last week and their food spoiled. This family is in immediate need of assistance. The mother is exasperated and overwhelmed from calling agencies to assist. She is to the point where she feels like she needs to put her kids in foster care so that their basic needs are at least met. She needs $494.35 to turn her power back on. She is also in need of immediate food assistance (non-perishable) for her and her 3 kids. Please help if you can.

A sweet woman has been caring for a little baby boy and finds herself needing some assistance with purchasing new diapers as he continues to grow bigger! She noted that he is currently wearing size 2 diapers but she is also happy to receive size 3 as he is quickly growing! Any help is greatly appreciated!

This single mom is just getting reunified with her three children. The youngest child is two years old and has grown out of his crib. He needs a low sitting twin size bed to accommodate his growth and to prevent injury if he were to roll out of bed. Mom has made great strides to improve her life and her children's lives. Mom just completed her GED and is planning on continuing her education so that she can become an even better provider for her family. New or gently used items are acceptable and always appreciated. thank you for all that you do for our community.

This family has been struggling with getting back on their feet after having several vehicle issues back-to-back that drained their bank account. Both parents work but do not make enough money to handle the unforeseen expenses like having their only means of transportation down for several weeks. They now have their vehicle working again but they are behind on July's rent and very concerned about getting evicted. The family needs $550 to get caught up on rent and keep their home. They currently have 3 children living with them but will soon have all 5 back in the home. This family has also been looking at coming back to church now that they have transportation again and hoping to find a new church home soon. The mother is in income-based housing and is unable to acquire beds for her children due to her income restrictions. She is struggling with providing basic needs for the children and due to their ages its imperative that they have these beds for proper rest.

Family is temporarily living in a hotel until housing opens up that they can get into. They are trying to keep the hotel room as clean and orderly as possible but with two little and all of their clothes and belongings it has been tough. Mom is asking for general cleaning supplies to clean the hotel up and keep it tidy. The parents have both stressed that the kids need socks. The family also needs at least one if not two of the large 3 drawer organizers, usually by Rubbermaid but any brand is great.

This single mother is working multiple jobs trying to support her children and herself. She is struggling to make ends meet and does not know how she will afford school clothes and supplies. We have been able to direct mom to several school supply drives, but she still needs help getting school uniforms for her four children. All four children need tan khaki pants and black polo collar shirts. I entered the request for 3 sets for each child, if you find it in your heart to donate 5 sets to make the load a little easier for mom even better. However, mom and the children would be grateful for any help at all with these items. Mom could desperately use a connection to a church body close to her home to bring her children to and to get connected to herself. Our services will only be in the home for 4 more short weeks; it would be great to know that mom will still have people to check on her and the kids and someone close by in the community for the family to turn to through the lulls of life.

A kind young woman has recently taken in two siblings into her home. She is doing the best to provide for their needs as they came into her home with very few personal items. In addition to the siblings she has taken in, she has three of her own children that she is caring for. To help accommodate the space and all of the children, she is requesting help in obtaining beds for the sweet kids. The baby is currently sleeping in a pack-and-play. She would appreciate any help in getting him a crib for a more permanent and safe sleeping arrangement. For the other sweet kiddos, the caregiver was requesting a twin-over-twin bunk bed with a pull-out trundle. This will ensure that each of the kids have their own beds to sleep in comfortably!

I have a teen child who is currently needing a laptop in order to be able to get back into homeschooling. Due to a previous situation with a stepparent destroying all of her and her mother's things, this child lost her laptop. This mother does not have the financial resources to replace the laptop, but it is necessary for this child to be able to continue her educational career so that she is able to create a life for herself as she becomes an adult. If you have a spare laptop/chromebook or are able to purchase one for this child, we would all be very grateful. Thank you so very much!
