Four children were placed full time with their father following the sudden death of their mother. The father, along with his mother, immediately moved into larger housing to accommodate the children full time instead of a few days a month. His landlord is allowing him to do the security deposit on a payment plan. His mother is caring for the children in the home while he works two full time jobs to provide for his family. He is re-working his budget to accommodate these changes to the family but in the meantime, would appreciate assistance with groceries.

A teenage youth was at an Aurora Hospital, when they were ready for discharge there was no placement for them. This youth lacks family support and is trying to pick up the pieces so they can complete high school and be able to build independent live skills. A gift card to walmart or somewhere so the teenager can get some clothing would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

A 16-year-old young man is currently navigating one of the most difficult times of his life. For the first time, he has entered a residential treatment facility to receive intensive mental health support. This transition comes after a series of overwhelming events, including hospitalization and placement into foster care. This journey that has left him with nothing but the clothes on his back. He has lost all of his personal clothing during the moves, and now, at a time when he needs stability and dignity the most, he has no clothes of his own. A few changes of clean clothes, socks, underwear, and a hoodie can go a long way toward helping him feel human again. Having his own clothing would restore a sense of identity and normalcy while he works to heal. This young man is working hard to manage his emotions, participate in therapy, and imagine a better future. Community support in the form of clothing would not only meet a practical need, but also send a powerful message: you are not alone, and you are worth showing up for. If this need is met, it could make a big difference in his recovery journey. Something as basic as new clothing can provide comfort, confidence, and a feeling of being seen.

The family is also needing help with rental assistance for the month of July. All four of the children are all in the home with their mother. Mother has just started back working and has asked for assistance with her rent for this month to help her get back on track with her bills.

A Provider who has taken in her grandson is on low income and is in need of Diapers for the child. The provider has a strict income and is running out of diapers and does not have the funds to purchase more at this time until she gets paid. The provider is asking for size 3 diapers for the child or $100 Walmart gift card to help with purchasing diapers for the month. The provider is thankful for any help that is received. Thank you

Single father recently received placement of his two toddler daughters. He was recently released from jail and has found a home and just started working at a new job. he is asking for help with two toddler beds so the girls will have a place to sleep.

8 month old boy was returned to his mother early June. Mother has been working diligently to ensure all of his benefits are transferred to her. However, due to a system error, her food stamps was discontinued and will be paused until State IT can resolve the issue. Mother is a single parent that is working overnight shifts to ensure that her and her child's needs are met, but this is a huge burden for this mother. Father of the child is not involved. Mother does not have any other supports that can help with food. She will also be utilizing community food pantries to supplement as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Two young men, ages 10 and 15 recently moved to CO from TX to reside with their step mother. The boys came to CO with very little clothing and belongings. The step mom is asking for assistance buying some new clothes for the boys. The 15 year old is a bigger kid and needs big and tall clothes. She is requesting gift cards for any stores that have good clothes in the category Big and Tall,

A family friend took in three children, a 3 year old boy, 5 year old boy, and 15 yr old girl in June. Due to being a single income earner, she needs to pay for a week of childcare while she waits for a daycare to be ready to take the children. She does not have a means to pay for it on her own. A visa gift card in the amount of $400 will cover the required cost and ensure she does not miss work. This would be a huge blessing to her if the need is met! Requesting assistance for a client to preserve Kinship placement. Would like client to attend day camp for socialization and enrichment. Client's behaviors can be a lot for her placement to manage during the day with work and other sibling interactions. It would help her to have an enriching activity and help preserve the placement. One week of summer day camp is $259 if eligible for the family program rate.

An aunt has taken custody of her three nieces and is in need of an uber gift card to assist with transportation to and from taking one of the children to daycare, work, home, and other assigned duties as a kin provider. If this need is met, it iwll help ease the financial burden on the aunt.
