Help Strengthen a Bio Family
A devoted single mother is caring for her two sons—her 3-year-old son who has autism and her 17-year-old son who is living with a disability. The demands of caregiving for both children, especially without outside help, have left her emotionally and financially overwhelmed. Recently, due to behavioral challenges, the older son damaged the baby gates that were used to keep the toddler safe.
These gates are essential to protecting the younger child, who is curious and on the move, from accessing areas of the home that could be dangerous for him. Mom is unable to work because her full-time role is providing care and supervision for both children, particularly given the specialized attention they each require.
We are kindly requesting two standard-size baby gates. Providing these would offer the family much-needed peace of mind and help ensure a safer, more secure environment for their youngest child.
