Mom(18 years old) recently had to move out of her parents home. She is now living with some of her other family members but does not have furniture for her and her daughter(2yrs old). Mom currently does not work and the family she is staying with is very low income. She would like assistance obtaining a bedroom dresser, queen size bed frame with mattress, sheets and comforter, as well as clothing for her 24 month baby girl.

Any help is appreciated.

Mom is currently dealing with domestic violence and lives in the home with her mother. She is pregnant and is unable to work due to issues she is having with her pregnancy. The grandmother is elderly and is not working and mom is in need of assistance with a few items for the youngest child.

This family consists of a rambunctious 2-year-old, mom, and unborn baby sibling. The family is in need of a washer and dryer for the home which will help mom in carrying out important household needs for the family as they grow in size.

Upon completing a home visit, CM noticed that there was no furniture in the family's living room and one of the bedrooms was completely empty. Our current client, a 16-year-old girl, shares a queen size bed between 2 other family members, while her caregiver sleeps on the floor. The family has 1 adult currently working while the other is forced to stay home and care for their 8-month-old baby boy. The family is financially limited as to how much they can spend. Our client needs her own bed to have a little bit more space and privacy.

A 16yr old youth was recovered and was placed with fictive kin with sibling and is needing a full mattress only and twin mattress only for a trundle bed as they will be sharing a room. When these items are met, the teenager will have normalcy and a safe place to sleep and a place to live alongside with sibling. This will help preservation of sibling group.

We have a client that has a six year old daughter and is pregnant. She has come for 3 visits with our Wellness Coach for Expressive Art for Trauma and loss. Her vision for the future is to be a wife and mom. She lives in an apartment but is facing an eviction notice. She is working now and begins a second job on April 21st. She receives SSI for her daughter's disability. This mom has money coming in but she won't have it all by the due date. Any amount helps to keep her and her children housed!

The family recently relocated to DFW with their one-month-old son to escape a tumultuous living environment. They are needing assistance with a few baby items to assist with caring for their son while they work on gaining employment.

A young single mother and her 3 children are in need of one bed for the 5-year-old girl. She would need a full set for her bed including a mattress, bed frame, and bedding as the mother does not currently have the financial stability to be able to provide this for her daughter. The mother is currently not able to work as one of her children is medically fragile and is his full-time caregiver. This bed would not only lift the financial burden for the mother, but it would also greatly help the young girl be able to sleep comfortably in a safe space.

I have an immigrant mother who just gave birth to her first baby this past Monday—a beautiful boy. He is a preemie and is currently staying in the NICU for a while. The mother is requesting a car seat and stroller so she can bring him home when the time comes. She has been working closely with me throughout her pregnancy. Unfortunately, her husband has been out of the country due to an emergency, and it’s uncertain when he will be able to return. The only support she has at the moment is from her sister and mother.

She will be meeting with me next Monday at 2 p.m., and it would be wonderful if you could meet her then to present the gifts. Thank you so much for supporting mothers who need this kind of help during such a challenging time.

Safety plan in place where the father needs to be monitored at all times with his children. Mother living in two separate households so father can be monitored and needs safe sleep/bassinet for her newborn baby. Baby has medical needs. Baby is 5 months old. The room the family is sleeping in is not large and a bassinet would be appropriate for baby.

A 17-year-old client is in need of laptop and Microsoft Software package for a virtual GED program. He has limited support from adults in his life and has been unable to enroll in a public school since he is about to turn 18. This client is very optimistic and eager to begin his education.

The department received a report of domestic violence. Father left the home but was still financially supporting mother and 4 children in the home. Recently father lost his job and mother expressed concern about paying utilities such as water and electricity.
