A single grandmother, who recently lost her job due to an injury, has been actively searching for employment to support her family. She has been the primary caregiver for her 6-year-old granddaughter, who has lived with her since birth. Despite her best efforts, she is currently behind on water and utility payments. She is deeply concerned about the well-being of her granddaughter, especially with the upcoming summer break, as the possibility of having the electricity and water shut off would leave them in a vulnerable and unsafe situation. Grandmother is very grateful of any assistance she can get to help her and the family during this difficult times. Water $260.76, Utility $180

A single mother who is being held at a hospital due to being exposed by a family member who tested positive for a deadly disease had to miss a week's worth of work which has been difficult on her financially. She is seeking assistance with the bills listed.

My client is a single mom of two teenage children. She is currently working full time and is actively trying to move out of unsafe living environment directly linked to her exploitation. She was using a vehicle her exploiter was allowing her to borrow. As a control tactic, he sold the car so that she would no longer be able to use it. She is now having to use uber/lyft to get back and forth to work, which is expensive.

She is desiring independence and freedom from her exploiter and this environment (and so is our team!). The biggest obstacle to achieving that right now is a reliable vehicle. She needs to have a guaranteed and reliable way to get to work, get her kids to school and extracurricular events, as well every day tasks such as grocery runs and doctor visits.

Once this need is meet, she will not only be able to get to work and put in as many hours as she can to save up to move out, but she will also be able to tour and look for places to move to. She will get to be away from the toxic environment and be able to prioritize things to improve her mental and physical wellbeing. Such as meeting with her advocate/mentor(s), attending counseling, engaging in community resources/activities.

A single mother of three is facing the urgent threat of having her utilities shut off by next week if she cannot make a payment. She has been doing everything she can to find help and was promised assistance last week, but sadly, that support fell through. With temperatures rising and three young children to care for, she’s deeply worried about how they’ll cope without electricity. Despite the challenges, she remains determined and is actively searching for employment to provide a stable life for her family. Any support during this critical time would mean the world to her and her children.

A single mother who is struggling financially is in need of purchasing shorts for her 11 yr old daughter. She wears a size 12 in girls clothes. Can be new or gently used.

With reliable refrigeration, they can safely store fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, and other nutritious foods that were previously out of reach due to lack of storage. This directly benefits the child’s health by supporting consistent access to balanced meals, which are essential for growth, development, and academic performance. For the family, it reduces stress around daily food planning, cuts down on food waste, and allows them to take advantage of food assistance programs more effectively. Ultimately, the refrigerator is more than just an appliance—it’s a step toward greater food security, stability, and improved quality of life for the entire household. This family has 3 children of various ages attending elementary and middle school and 3 adults living in the home. One adult is a stay at home care taker for an elderly relative.

A 2nd grade student and his family were unfortunately involved in a severe car wreck. Student's father and uncle passed away and mother who was pregnant, is in a coma and baby was born a premie and currently in the NICU. The student has 3 other siblings older/younger siblings as well. They are all currently being cared for by relatives. Any amount for gas gift cards would be helpful to family as they travel back and forth between schools and hospital visits.

A young 19 year old mom and her 6 month old daughter just moved from Utah. She is trying to get back on her feet from being involved in a domestic violence relationship. She does not work and her highest level of education is 8th grade. Mom is from mexico and only speaks spanish, she relies heavily on her aunt but her aunt can only help so much.

Client recently moved from out of state with her finance and kids. She is pregnant and does not have a bed.

Mother is a single mother who relocated to Texas about a year ago. Mother just began working within the last year but is now out on medical leave due to birth. Oldest children father is deceased, and mother is not able to get some needed items for children or household supplies due to currently being out of work.
