OFA Internal Needs

Teenage girl just hit her growth spurt and is needing some new clothes. She currently lives in a group home so she has limited access to clothes new or old or shopping trips. This teen loves anything girly and really likes colors. She loves the colors pink and black. She has currently put on a little weight and wants to be comfortable when she is at home. She loves to wear leggings and sweats. She loves hair accessories.
Clothing size Shirt -Adult small going into a medium, Paints XL legging/ sweats, could wear 16 in jeans, Shoes 8.5, underwear xl, Sport bra M/L and Socks 8.5

Parents are needing help starting their domestic violence services. They are both needing help with paying the assessment fee as they are currently between jobs and have not yet received unemployment. They are both trying to get started on their services as quickly as possible to try and get their two children home.

Bio dad in need of $95 assessment fee for services. Dad is willing to engage in services but unable to afford the assessment fee. Dad is currently caring for two children and working full time. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!

A biological mother is in need of two booster seats for her two young children so she can begin transporting them to and from visits with the children.

A new foster home is in need of home repairs after a serious storm caused a tree to fall into their home, a home they had only been in for 4 months after spending the last 16 months remodeling it to live in. A few days before the storm, the family had been approved to start taking in children and immediately took in a teenager. Just as the everyone is trying to settle. they now have damage that is so severe, they cannot live in the home. The family will have to have the home repaired very soon as their current living situation will not be feasible very long as foster parents. The foster family, with assistance of friends and family is able to do many of the repairs themselves, but are needing assistance with material costs. The family provided a detailed estimate of costs. The foster family has a background in home building. Most of the costs are for materials they need for tasks of the project they can handle. A few of the costs involve costs for labor, as there is certain things such as the roof, they need labor assistance with. I have an estimate provided by the family and I can share upon request. The family is appreciative of any help offered.

Please help preserve this kinship placement with 2 out of the 4 children which are placed with their great Aunt. The children are ages 2 & 6 and are having a hard time eating solid foods and was directed by medical professionals to start to blend the children food due to internal health concerns. The family is requesting a blender and help make the children smoothies. The family has also requested help with stimulating the children learning and has asked for any educational help. Things like flash cards, puzzles, books and educational toys. Both children are Autistic, and the family asked for help with sensory toys that can help the children in any way possible and help with gas back and forth to their numerous appointments. The family is also in the process of potty training the 2-year-old and has asked for help with a potty chair and pull ups. This family needs a bus pass to make it to their family visitations to see their 4 daughters weekly. Both mom and dad only transportation currently is by bus and the family is requesting help. The family also is requesting help with a bus pass to maintain their current employment. If you would not mind providing help with 2 bus passes for this family, they will greatly appreciate it. I have a kinship foster family who is currently in need of two tall, stand up, dressers for two boys! When the boys were placed in their home, they were given a dresser with fabric drawers that have since been falling apart. Foster parents have looked at every thrift store in town and haven't been able to locate any dressers. This would be such a huge help in keeping these two boys in their current placement, together, with family! Thank you for your consideration in helping with this need!!

Foster family is in need of a narrow car seat (Preferably a Graco SlimfitLX3) to allow them to transport all the children in one vehicle. Currently, they have to take two vehicles to transport all the children, but both foster parents work full time and their schedules are not the same. This makes doing stuff as a family outside of the house difficult. This is their first placement and they are very motivated and caring individuals, who are very attentive to the children's needs. The car seat is for a 1 year old.

A young father of two young daughters is working a prevention case with OKDHS. This young father is a hard worker and is needing some community support to help him with his family. The children's mother is not involved and this father is the provider and caretaker for these young ladies. His oldest daughter has a severe chronic medical condition and this father had to miss some work because she was hospitalized. This resulted in the father losing his job. He has been looking for another job ever since, but has not found one yet. This father is in danger of losing his only means of transportation for him and is daughters since he has been out of work. We are asking for help with preventing this dad from losing his vehicle. Any help that could be put toward this need would greatly benefit this family that is struggling to get on their feet.
