A family of five with one on the way (Mom is 22 weeks along) has fallen on extremely hard times. Not only is the pregnancy very high risk to both mom and baby, but both parents have lost their jobs and are unable to pay their rent for next month despite doing odd jobs, such as Uber, in order to meet their bills while they look for employment and complete their studies. Both of these parents are also full-time aviation mechanics students that look forward to a future in this field, but they still have a year or more left until they graduate. This family has faced homelessness before, but the stakes are higher now that Mom is pregnant. Between rent and utilities, they find themselves facing an uphill battle against time and are at maximum stress levels. Would you consider helping?

I currently have two foster kids who have been returned to their mother and are in need of some dressers for their clothes/rooms. Children are 6 and 12 years old. The family has struggled with keeping the home clean and organized and the dressers will help both the kids and the mother with keeping the home organized.

I have a current family of five struggling with basic household products. Both parents are employed and have three children, 10, 11 and 14. Both parents have placed the needs of the children above their own. The father is in need of new work clothes and would deeply appreciate a gift card to academy. He works in HVAC. The family is currently engaged in services, and the father is working on his sobriety and steps towards a clean life. Caseworker is utilizing community resources for food, clothing and other household essentials for the family. But we would be grateful for a gift card to Academy sports for the father is able to obtain newer work clothing.

We are currently working with a dedicated young woman, age 18, who is doing everything she can to support and stabilize her family. She is hoping to gain custody of her younger siblings (ages 15, 16, and 13) because she feels their mother, who is currently unemployed, is not in a position to properly care for them. She has already taken on many of the responsibilities of caring for them and wants to provide them with a more stable and healthy environment.

She was previously employed and regularly visited the food bank to help provide for her family. However, her only mode of transportation recently broke down, which led to the loss of her job and made it impossible for her to continue accessing the food bank. She is actively seeking new employment but is in urgent need of financial assistance for transportation so she can begin to rebuild stability.

In addition to financial help, she would benefit greatly from emotional and community support. She feels overwhelmed and alone in her efforts, yet she remains deeply committed to giving her siblings a better life—one free from the difficult cycle they’ve been living in.

Any assistance with transportation, job referrals, food access, or community support would make a meaningful and lasting impact.

Single mom of 2 needing help with getting car out of the shop. Mom has finally got on her feet after months of struggle and is trying to make sure her children have Transportaion. She has a full-time job and is need her vehicle to ensure her children get what they need. She is needing the Transporation to ensure her children can get to their School (since it is a new school district for the children), doctors' appointments or take her children to childcare during her work hours. She stated that she got the transmission fixed and the car is working and running. She needs $1700 to get the car out of the shop.

Mother has recently become a single parent. She was reliant on her spouse to meet all of the family's needs but has since been leaning on her family support system and community resources to rebuild for her and her 5 children. She is currently unemployed but looking for jobs. She recently informed me she gathered items to sell in her home so she could buy the children's school clothes but when she left the home, someone went in her backyard and stole her item's and now she has no money to purchase the children's school clothing. She has requested assistance form the department in getting school uniforms and shoes for her 3 oldest children.

We are currently serving a survivor of trafficking who is a single mom of five (all ages 5 and under). Over the past 2.5 years, her biggest priority has been her kids and making a better life for them.

This month, she is in the process of moving into a bigger place! She is moving from a two bedroom apartment to a 4 bedroom house, which will be much more accommodating for her family’s unique needs.

With more space, comes the need for more furniture. We are asking for a refrigerator, a washer and dryer. These are all items that were provided with her apartment but will not be able to take with her to her house and needs them. She is also needing a table and chairs as she did not have space for them but will now!

Disclaimer: She is set to move in July 1st, so we would not need the items delivered until AFTER that date due to lack of space.

Mother is a single mother and is unemployed. Mother is supported by maternal grandmother; however, funds are still limited. Mother's cousin accidently broke the 1-year old's toddler bed. Mother has been working towards getting a new one but has not been able to acquire one.

I have a kinship foster placement who is needing help getting a highchair and a crib for a 6 month old girl to ensure safety and proper development.

The mother has a 7-month-old baby girl. Currently the television is propped against the wall, and I want to ensure the television doesn't slide and fall on the child when she is moving around on the floor. The television does not have a stand, and it is a 55 in. television.

I recently made a request but grandmother forgot to include this new item. We are transitioning youth back to grandmother's home and she has limited financial resources. He's been in care about 4 years and is ready to return home to grandmother. Parental rights have been terminated.

A single mother of three children is in a financial bind. She is unable to pay for her car payment this month. She is struggling to establish a good- paying job that can support three children.
