CHURCH FAMILIES: We need your help! I am one of the child welfare supervisors and we have a family with a child with severe special needs that is being evicted from their home today (7-15-25). They are needing a hotel room for a few days up to a week to regroup and get a plan together. Father does not paid until Wednesday this week and they are in distress. If any church or family could assist with a night or 7, that would be a Blessing to this family today!

I’m reaching out about a young mother on my caseload who is doing exceptionally well—she’s meeting all her case goals and there are no current concerns.

She is in need of a computer to support her ability to work from home, as well as a stroller for her child. Any assistance you can provide with these items would be greatly appreciated.

A foster family is in need of two car seats so a sibling group can continue to be placed together. The family is need of (1) 5 point harness car seat and (1) 5 point harness car seat that converts to a high back booster seat to grow with the child. The car seats will be forward facing.

A Kinship Foster Care family is in need of a twin bunkbed and mattresses to provide adequate sleeping arrangements for several addtional children placed in their home. This is an urgent need by a family who has graciously taken on the responsibility of caring for their younger loved ones. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Foster Grandmother, of 2 teen boys, has a new landlord due to the previous landlord selling the property. Today he told her he needed $950 by the end of the day or he will start the eviction process. This rent money is needed ASAP. Thank you!

Mother and Father have a transportation barrier and need buss passes to make it to family time with their son. It will also allow them to seek employment and complete their treatment plans.

Foster Mother needs assistance paying 250.00 for daycare activities/field trips. Child is having a wonderful time going on outings and does not want to be one of the few that has to stay behind. Foster Mother has recently taken on kinship and is struggling financially.

There is a wonderful mother that is in the Eufaula area, and she faces life every day in a world full of darkness due to having no vision. This mother has brought two children into this world who are two and four-year-old, and they are her life! She is comforting, warm, and nourishing to the children. It is remarkable at what she has accomplished with what little she was left with. Unfortunately, the family did come into DHS custody due to living conditions that were out of this mother’s control. She inherited a camper that was surrounded by unsafe debris and no one to help them. Since the intervention, mom decided to cut ties with the only property she owned and the only thing her father left her; and moved to a safe and stable new home, so her children could be reunited with her. Mom now has her children back in her care, but she struggles walking around the new home, and property due to her extreme vision impairment. The new home is in the country and the ground is uneven. So, I am requesting a walking stick so she may go outside and play with her children, walk around the new home and enjoy it and not worry about hitting something. Also, while I was speaking to a State program, I learned that mom holds something amazing because she can read and write in brail! Which is apparently becoming a lost art due to computer technology.

I am writing on behalf of a single mother with four children who is in urgent need of assistance with a utility bill totaling $145.98. If the bill is not paid by July 15, the amount will increase to $160.58, and disconnection is scheduled if not paid before July 25. The mother supports her family through part-time house cleaning and grocery delivery work, along with limited child support from her estranged husband. Any help to prevent a shut-off would be deeply appreciated during this critical time. Thank you for your consideration and support.

This is a two part transportation request. We are looking for help getting a car repair completed or two bus passes. The parents have been told it is a gas pedal sensor. They say when they step on the gas pedal the engine does not rev up. If you are or know an auto mechanic that can help fix this issue, they would be very grateful for the help. They have been walking and/or asking friends for help getting to appointments. They are not able to get to job interviews that are farther away which has made it difficult for them to get the funds together to get the issue fixed. They do not have a quote for how much this repair would cost. They are also asking for a pair of bus passes to help them to get to appointments and interviews until they can get their car issues fixed.

A single mother of three who also has three foster children in her care needs a new twin mattress for one of her foster children. The current mattress is no longer useable as the child has had regression in bed-wetting. This foster mother has spent time cleaning the bedding, the mattress, and all the areas of the bedroom to keep the room clean and fresh-smelling. Please help this mother by giving the home a new mattress for their little guy. It would also be helpful if the mattress came with a good mattress cover to secure its usability for years to come.
