A new foster placement is needing a twin size mattress for a child they just took placement of. The child came with a twin bed frame but no mattress. The family is borrowing a mattress from a friend until they can get it replaced.

Grandmother has her two young grandchildren (3y and 4y) placed with her. Grandmother already has guardianship of another teen grandchild with special needs. Grandmother works at a local school and has very limited income during the summer. Grandmother's vehicle transmission is out of sorts and is unable to be driven to a shop to be evaluated. Grandmother is unable to pay for the vehicle to be towed herself as the expense is outside of her very limited budget at this time. By fulfilling this need, you are helping this family placement continue.

Great uncle and aunt on a fixed income unexpectedly took in their niece's children (1y,2y). The children would benefit from sensory toys, bouncers, etc. By meeting this need, you are allowing the family's resources to go towards bills and other necessities like diapers and wipes.

Kinship family took in infant daughter of family friend from the hospital. They have purchased a lot of items for the child but need a baby monitor. By providing this for the family you are allowing them to use their income towards other items for the child and their needs. Walmart has one for about $40 with a camera. Thank you so much!

Single mother located in Richmond Indiana with one child is in need of a bed for herself and the child. Mother has limited income as she has been seeking employment but is unsuccessful. Child is only 2 years old and can use a toddler bed or a twin bed.

A single father of two little boys (4&5), located in Richmond, is on his way to getting the children back in his care. He must first do a trial home visit. Father just recently got his own apartment and is in need of beds/bedding for the children and dressers for a way to store the children's clothing. Two twin beds or bunk bed and dressers would meet his needs.

A mother, who is on a fixed income, has been prioritizing her available finances to ensure her 14 year old son is getting the mental health assistance he needs. This has included multiple long distance drives, which has required her to spend her income on fuel. The mother has been trying to obtain twin mattresses for her 8 year old and 14 year old sons. These children would drastically benefit from having mattresses of their own. Obtaining these would also help alleviate stress on the mother. The family currently has bed frames and these frames do not require box springs.

Biological family needing assistance with groceries for the month. Parents have had some recent financial issues and this would help the family not fall behind. The family is working hard on becoming more financially stable. The family provided a list of some ideas but would be thankful for any foods/assistance.
