I'm working with a high school foster student that has made the dance and cheer team. Foster Mom has received court appointed funds for extracurricular activities, but it is not nearly enough for the added cost of uniforms, camps, accessories, etc. I am asking for help to cover the cost of her dance camp so that our high schooler is not forced to choose between one or the other. By helping to cover the cost of this summer dance camp, our high schooler will be able to participate with her peers and feel a sense of normalcy after being separated from her siblings. We are seeking sponsorship in the form of gift cards for groceries and gas, which would provide immediate relief and support to help meet her family’s basic needs. Grocery store and gas station gift cards, even in small denominations, can make a meaningful difference.

Please help a foster mother obtain a travel system stroller and car seat combo. The family took in a newborn while the mother completes treatment program. The family is struggling and unable to purchase a travel system stroller on their own. Please help this preserve this family.

I have been working with Mom for almost 2 years. She had a very serious problem with addition until October 2023, when she gave birth to a baby girl. She has been clean and sober since then, now has full custody of her daughter, is employed with stable housing and is doing great. Mom has older kids, 15-year-old twin boys and a 17-year-old. The older kids have been in foster care; since Mom has turned her life around, she has reestablished relationships with them. They are visiting, and the family may be soon reunited. They are in a very small space right now, but Mom is hoping to be approved for a larger home soon. Mom is humble and reluctant to ask, but she needs 4 sets of twin sheets and comforters, pillows, towels, deodorants, soaps, toothpaste, shampoo, and toiletries for the older kids, toilet paper, size 4 diapers, baby shampoo and lotions, plastic hangers and plastic bins for storage.
Mom is open to a gift certificate or to someone who can assist her with planning and shopping. Thank you in advance.

She recently secured stable housing and employment and continues to fight for her family's well-being. This mom has been doing everything she can to get back on her feet and support her child. She even advocated for her child to receive after-school tutoring, and thanks to her persistence, it was finally approved. Just as things were starting to fall into place, her only mode of transportation broke down. Now she's facing new challenges, including getting to work, keeping her apartment, and having to pay for multiple Uber trips a day to ensure her child gets to school and receives the help she truly needs from the tutoring program. We are requesting help to cover the cost of car repairs to keep this resilient mother moving forward. She is currently working with a mechanic who has been understanding of her situation and is being patient with the payment, but support is still urgently needed. Your support can make a lasting impact by helping her sustain employment, housing, and her child's access to academic support. We appreciate any help this mom can get. Single mother of three children has worked hard to reunify with her children. She has maintained employment and recently acquired her own apartment. The mother left an abusive relationship and is making positive steps to provide a stable life for the children. She recently moved into her apartment and needs help furnishing it. She is very open to used items and whatever help she can get to get her home suitable for the children. She is in need of couches and a dining table.

A relative caregiver adopted and welcomed a child into their home who needs assistance with essential home items. The grandmother urgently require a complete twin bedding set including a blanket, along with a dresser to properly store the child's clothing and personal belongings. Meeting these needs will provide their child with a warm, cozy bed to sleep in. It will also create an organized space for their possessions. These essential items will help establish a nurturing environment that supports the child's sense of security and belonging in their new home.

Brothers and Sisters, we have a single mother of 6 children who is pregnant and in need of a vehicle to help with an emergency situation she is currently facing. Her 6 children, ages 14, 11, 5, twins ages 1.5 years and currently pregnant expected in 2 months. One of daughters is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and need constant care. This mother is currently facing an unimaginable hardship in which her oldest child contracted Mono (virus) and has been hospitalized for 4 months now at UCLA. Unfortunately, the doctors now believe that he now has cancer. There are great unexpected incurring medical expenses that the family is trying to figure out how they will finance this new financial challenge. However, the greatest need that this mother faces is transportation. She has been with out a car and due to lack of transportation and she is having to pay for an Uber. She only see's her son at the hospital about once per week due to great financial strain. We are asking if there is a way that you can meet the needs of getting/giving her a vehicle to travel back and forth from home to Los Angeles with her kids. The hardship is immense and we are praying that the Lord will fulfill this need. This mother has a driver's license and is able to maintain the car if one is donated to her.

We have an opportunity to bless a lovely lady with two small kids that has just completed her transition from homelessness to getting an apartment of her own. She’s worked really hard and would love some assistance getting some basic pieces of furniture secured. We have been able to provide a queen size bed and frame as well as two toddler beds with mattresses and bedding for everyone. We still need some assistance finding two small dressers for this family.
