We have a mother and daughter who have been brought back together. We have observed the mother and child to have a great bond. The mother just moved into a new apartment and will be starting a new job in the next couple of weeks. The mother has overcame many obstacle's in her life, and during our interaction with the mother we have observed an amazing turn around in her life. She is needing assistance with her rent and only has a short window of time to do so. If this barrier can eliminated it will help the mother save for incoming bills. We would like to add that this is a one time ask, because the mother believes she will be able to meet all of the needs in the home once she starts working full time. I have a mom with seven children that are in reunification. She has worked hard to get her children back in her home and care. She is asking for help with a couple of things. First, to pay her electric bill. She has been working but was a bit short this month. Her bill is $78.19 and isn't due until 5/20. She would be very appreciative for help with any amount. Second, her youngest child is outgrowing her infant carrier. She is looking for help getting a reversable (rear/forward facing) car seat. She is not looking for anything fancy, just something to keep her little one safe. If you are able to assist with either of these requests, she would be most grateful.

Hello. We have a mother who needs help with transportation to and from various service providers, as she continues to worker her plan. We are asking for a 30-day bus pass for her to continue. Thank you for considering this request.

Please help a biological father in a wheelchair with a bus pass to get to his services and appointments.

Parents of five are need of transportation assistance to get to family time at the DHS office, which is difficult from their location on the bus. An Uber or Lyft card would support them to see their children.

A young man on my caseload is in a robotics course at school. He is in to programming and coding. He currently does coding on his phone but the phone can no longer handle data. He asked for desktop computer or "tower" to use for coding/programming. He said that it did not have to be new or have special specifications. A desktop/tower would help him further his educational goals and perhaps launch a career in this field. He is an exceptional youth with good behavior and a positive attitude.

Greetings. I have a potential placement provider who is waiting for subsidy. She has sacrificed her own limited resources, again and again, to provide for the needs of this child. We are trying to be creative as to offsetting the placement providers costs. We are asking for a $50 gas card, a $50 laundry station card, groceries, and laundry soap.

I am working with a biological family of three. Mom is moving to overnight visits and is excitedly preparing to care for the children! Mom is requesting assistance with groceries because she does not qualify for food stamps.

A father is needing help paying for his sober living program. He had been hired for a job and had plans to cover the cost himself, but he was unable to get the job because of an unpaid traffic ticket. He is currently trying to do day jobs to pay off his ticket. If anyone could help with his sober living costs while he focuses on paying his ticket that would be super helpful that way he doesn't get kicked out of sober living. He has an outstanding move in fee of $125.00 and outstanding weekly rent in the amount of $375.00 for a total of $500 past due.

The department is working with a single mother who is desperately needing a new car seat for her 9 month old child. Unfortunately, all the mother has for her son currently is his infant car seat that he is quickly outgrowing. This single mother is in need of a convertible car seat that can be rear and forward facing and could grow with him as he continues to develop appropriately. I am certain this natural mother will accept any and all assistance offered to her at this time. We have a mother and daughter who have just been reunified. The mother has achieved quite a lot in a short period of time. The mother and daughter just moved into a new apartment. The mother has been diligent in search of employment. The mother is in need of utility assistance, groceries and a gas card. Help in these areas will assist the family while the mother finds employment.

A foster parent is needing help paying for the cost of summer camp for two young children that she is currently fostering. The cost is $220 per child per month over the summer, but if it is paid in advance then it reduces to $400 a child for the entire summer camp. Even a partial payment would be helpful to the foster family.
