Hello! Tulsa County recently removed a 13 year old female who will be staying in a Claremore, Rogers County foster home. This child was removed due to abandonment and was not allowed to take any clothing with her. We have found some items for her but it would mean a great deal to this child to have something to claim as her own.
She is sweet, kind, and when you first meet her she lights up the room. She has hopes and dreams to become a forensic pathologist and loves all animals. She enjoys the color pink. When speaking with her she believes that the size clothing that she wears is around a size Small-Medium in shirts and size 0-3 in pants. She is currently wearing a 14/16 in children sizes that are a little small. She also wears a size 7.5 in shoes. She is such a fantastic kid. I know with the communities help it would be a great encouragement to help her with these needs.
We as a community can help make this child feel loved and know that she is not in this alone. Thank you for all your assistance!

A mother and 3 children who have escaped domestic violence is needing assistance furnishing their new home. After escaping an abusive situation, and leaving everything behind, this mom has worked tremendously hard to get back on her feet. She has been successful in locating a safe home for her and her children to live in, all that she is lacking is basic furnishings.
Family currently in need of assistance with Metro PC cell phone bill. The parents have started services prior to a treatment plan having been created. The department is assisting the family with locating access to resources to help provide the family with some financial relief. The family has reported they are needing assistance with the cell phone bill, in the amount of $50. The parents currently have frequent family time sessions as they have been able to identify appropriate parties to help supervise visitation. The family requires the phone for contact in regard to visitation, case management, service provider communication, and several other reasons. The family currently consists of 3 young children, all under the age of 4. One of the children has a medical condition requiring frequent doctor appointments. The department would also like to request assistance in the form of a gas/gift card to help the parents with fuel costs. The parents participate in frequent family time visitation as mentioned about, however, they are also actively participating in medical appointments with the children which adds to the family's fuel costs. Any assistance that could be provided for the family would be greatly appreciated. Previous request was not fulfilled.

I have a mom and dad who are attempting to get custody back of their child. They currently have a disconnect for 3/22 for their electric in the amount of $299. They also owe $240 to ONG and need assistance to pay it.
I have a mom who just had a baby on Monday. There were complications and the recovery is anticipated to be a long one. She currently has a toddler in the home and another child who is seriously disabled in a facility in OKC. Family could use assistance with groceries as she will not have income for some time and boyfriend took off work when she had the baby. Additionally, family could use some gas cards to help with transportation to visit the other child.
Syreeta:
Tomorrow is our grocery give away starting at 10:00. Let me know if you are interested in coming to get groceries or if she is able to come.
