After months of experiencing homelessness due to the mother courageously leaving an abusive relationship, the family now has stable housing. While this is a major and hopeful step forward, they are still in need of essential household items to help them settle in and feel truly at home. The following items are needed: 2 Twin mattresses, 2 twin bed frames, 2 Twinn bedding, 1 set pots and pans, 1 dresser, 5 towels, 1 dining table and 5 chairs. Any support, whether through donations or sharing this need with others, is deeply appreciated. Thank you for being a part of this family's journey toward stability.

This is a single mom with three young kids in elementary school who’s been going through a tough time. She’s been experiencing homelessness and has been moving between Los Angeles and Orange County. While staying in LA, her kids missed over a week of school because she didn’t have a way to get them to school. Right now, the family is staying in Orange County, and with just three weeks left in the school year, the mom really wants her children to finish out the year at their school in Corona-Norco. School has been one of the few stable things in the kids’ lives lately, and she’s doing her best to keep that going. Mom needs support in the form of gas cards to help her get the kids to and from school during these last few weeks. Anything would help and would go a long way in supporting this family during a difficult time.

Hello, We are seeking some assistance in getting 2 car seats and one booster seat for a single grandmother who just was placed today with her three young grandchildren on an emergency basis. The children came with very little belongings and have had some traumatic experiences. She is on a limited income but has been able to obtain the beds and clothing items needed but she has been unable to get car seats for them and could really use some assistance. They are in need of (2) 5 point harness seats for the 2 and 3 year old girls and a booster seat for the 5 year old boy. They can be new or used. Currently working with a single father who is facing a series of devastating setbacks. Recently, his employer downsized, drastically cutting his hours, leaving him with barely enough income to stay afloat. As if that wasn’t enough, his car—his only means of getting to work and taking his daughters to school—broke down unexpectedly. The repairs were costly, forcing him to use what little he had saved just to keep it running. Now, he’s behind on rent and accumulating late fees, with eviction looming over his head. Despite doing everything he can to provide, his application for EBT was denied, leaving him unable to afford even the most basic groceries. He’s the sole caregiver to three growing daughters who need food, clothing, and other daily essentials, and can use a Walmart or target gift card. Urgently needs support especially food cards and basic necessities.

According to his school counselor, he has recently become withdrawn and less communicative, likely due to the stress of his current living situation. However, when he’s on the court playing basketball, his entire demeanor shifts — it’s the one place where he seems to come alive. We strongly believe that participating in a Summer Basketball Camp this June would offer him not only a positive and structured environment, but also a critical emotional and mental outlet during a very challenging time in his life. We are seeking sponsorship support to help cover the cost of the camp. We are reaching out on behalf of a grandmother who is the sole caretaker of her teenage grandson and adult grandson, who recently lost his job. This family is currently facing a critical situation — they are behind on their utility bills and have been given just one week to make a payment before their services are shut off. Despite her best efforts, the grandmother is unable to cover the overdue amount on her fixed income. We are seeking sponsors or community support to help this family stay in their home with basic utilities. Any assistance, whether financial or through referrals to local resources, would make a tremendous difference in helping them through this difficult time.

A single mother of two is currently experiencing financial hardship after the father of her children stopped making child support payments. She is a full-time student at RCC, pursuing a degree in social work, and is on track to graduate early next year. While working hard to cover extra expenses for her daughters, she is requesting assistance with food, gas, and clothing.

Brothers and Sisters, we have a single mother of 6 children who is pregnant and in need of a vehicle to help with an emergency situation she is currently facing. Her 6 children, ages 14, 11, 5, twins ages 1.5 years and currently pregnant expected in 2 months. One of daughters is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and need constant care. This mother is currently facing an unimaginable hardship in which her oldest child contracted Mono (virus) and has been hospitalized for 4 months now at UCLA. Unfortunately, the doctors now believe that he now has cancer. There are great unexpected incurring medical expenses that the family is trying to figure out how they will finance this new financial challenge. However, the greatest need that this mother faces is transportation. She has been with out a car and due to lack of transportation and she is having to pay for an Uber. She only see's her son at the hospital about once per week due to great financial strain. We are asking if there is a way that you can meet the needs of getting/giving her a vehicle to travel back and forth from home to Los Angeles with her kids. The hardship is immense and we are praying that the Lord will fulfill this need. This mother has a driver's license and is able to maintain the car if one is donated to her.

A grandmother is preparing for an upcoming surgery and will be spending time in a recovery home as she heals. During this period, her grandson will be staying with extended family. While she focuses on her health, she is deeply concerned about ensuring he has enough nutritious food and essentials while she is away.
