The infant's father is not involved with the child. Family is in need of diapers size 3, wipes, and clothes 6-9 months. They would greatly appreciate the help from the community. Young mom caring for her two boys, ages 2 and 1, as well as her teenage cousin. Mom recently applied and was approved for childcare due to not having reliable childcare while she worked. She was having to miss work a lot and got behind on her bills. Her electric has been shut off. It will cost $88.13 to have service reconnected, but she owes a total of $130.45.

There is a single mother of 2 who is in need for assistance with her rent. After being on unpaid maternity leave following leave for her oldest child's surgery she's been able to maintain some of her bills with savings but that has depleted. The rental agency is willing to work with her and if this balance is paid the family can stay in their home. She has recently gotten a job and child care but needs to use her first paycheck when that comes on child care. At this time the mother needs help staying in her home while trying to catch up. She is facing eviction on Friday 6/13. She has been attempting to use local resource which has gotten her $400 and DSS is able to assist with the a $800. She still needs $1748 for avoid eviction.

This request is being submitted for a single mom of four boys. Mom has communicated that she has a need for full size sheets for two of the boy's bed. Mom stated that at this moment she is financially unable to meet this need. She noted she has comforters for the beds, but a sheet and pillowcase set would be helpful. Thank you for considering!

Tomorrow one of my clients is starting a trial home placement, and the Mom is waiting on her food stamps to get figured out. I am requesting a Walmart gift card to help with groceries. She will rely on the bus, and Walmart is the closest grocery store near her. He will be coming home tomorrow and I hoping to be able to have gift card for them by tomorrow. He is a teenager boys so I am requesting $200.

Single mom of two children; a girl (7) and a boy (5), is working hard to get her house more organized. She has been able to clean up the home and get rid of some clutter. She states that her children have a lot of toys and she would like to be able to put them up somewhere, out of site. She has asked for some sort of large toy box or some sort of storage/seating that the toys could be placed in. Mom his filed for divorce after going through several episodes of domestic violence.

I am currently working with a family whose child is in need of clothing. The child is 10 years old; he lives with his mother and grandfather and will be going into middle school next year. He is in need of some summer clothing and some clothing to start him off when the new school year starts in August. The family does have very limited income. The child wears size 20 in men's pants, size medium in men's for tops. Thank you for your consideration!

This family is cared for by a single mother. There are four children in the home, some with special needs. This mother has had issues with her employer, and some cuts have been made. Due to these issues, the family is looking for assistance with rent. The full amount will be listed on the request, but whatever is received, is very much appreciated. By fulfilling this request, the chances of children coming into care are lowered, and stable housing will be secured.

The only income that the family have is mother's which is not too high, dad he is disabled and is waiting for his first appointment for disability. They are living in Roanoke for 7 months now. They are trying hard to be update on bills, but they are behind with rent and we are trying to help with that so they don't get evicted. Anything helps.
