This request is being made on behalf of a 7 year old male child residing with brothers, 9 and 11, and sister, 12. This child has been diagnosed with non-verbal autism and he recently outgrew his previous bed and assistance is needed to provide a more appropriate size for the child.
This request if for a 7 year old male child who resides with brothers, 9 and 11, and sister, 12. This child has been diagnosed with non-verbal autism and has specialized nutrition needs and only drinks out of a bottle. Due to his age and behavior, he uses many bottles and his current supply is running low.
This request is being made for a 7 year old male child who resides with two brothers, 9 and 11, and sister, 12. The child has been diagnosed with non-verbal autism. He currently resides with a relative placement and the baby monitor will help ensure his safety throughout the night as he currently is crawling on furniture and hurting himself.
Parent has a clothes dryer that does not work. She has tried to service it and they say it is unrepairable. She is on state funding and cannot afford this.
Father of one of our children in foster care does not have a sim card for his phone. He works two jobs but does not make much money and asked for a Walmart Gift Card to purchase a $50 Smart Phone sim card so he can get his cell phone to work. He needs to be able to contact his lawyer, daughter and caseworker. He says that he has already paid ahead on the phone, so service would not be an issue.
This 14 year old boy has been in care for over two years. He bounced around a little, before finding stable placement with his siblings in March of 2021. He has an 8th grade field trip to Washington, DC coming up in April (with payment due by the end of the month). This youth is a great kid. Once he got into a stable and loving home, and was able to find the right dosage of medication, he has thrived. He does well in school, loves playing sports, and he has a very humble and kind personality. He would really like to go on this trip, and his foster family would really like for him to be able to join his classmates. They need some help to make this happen. The cost of the trip is $1,609, and that is a lot for the family to take on, especially since they have six other children in the home. So far, $500 has been donated toward this trip, and $1,109 remains. Any amount helps!
A mother and her 2-month-old child will be evicted from their apartment this Wednesday, January 25th. The mother went to court two weeks ago to see if they could get an extension. The leasing agent told them they could do an extension, but the eviction would be on their record, or they would have to leave by this Wednesday, and they wouldn't put it on their record. Mom chose to leave by the 25th. When mom chose this option, she believed she had some prospects on a place to move into. Now none of those prospects are available. Mom has been contacting the shelters to see if they can stay there but as of now nothing is available. Requesting a hotel room for a week until she can figure something out.

Does she have a place to store her belongings during the in between time? Our church could help with marriage if she needs and I already have a bunch of boxes.

We would like to request assistance with a deserving family that we support. The family has a nine-year-old boy who struggles with ADHD and ODD who recently started taking medications that have caused him significant sudden weight gain. This family is poverty stricken, due to client’s mental health needs mom is unable to work as he is often asked to leave school. This family is working very hard to ensure that their son has the support he needs to be successful. Unfortunately due to some of his behavior client does struggle with negative peer interactions that lead to bullying and with his weight gain this has increased. For this reason the family is hoping to find a donor that will purchase client new clothing to help increase his confidence.
Due to the rising cost of food and overall cost of living, the women at our clinic are struggling now more than ever. We like to keep a variety of gas and grocery gift cards on hand to assist them as needed. However, our supply is very low and any additional gift cards to help these mothers to be/new mothers would be appreciated. Thank you!
Special Instructions:
Please drop gift cards off at the side entrance of Liberty Women's Clinic (1532 NE 96th St, STE B Liberty, MO 64068) anytime between the hours of 9:00 AM- 4:30 PM Monday - Thursday. If it is
I'm currently working with a family that the father just recently lost his job of 11 years and the mother does not work at this time, the child is diabetic and needs to be seen at Children's Mercy and the family does not have the funds for gas to make it to the child's appointments to make sure they are meeting his health needs and getting his insulin for his pump and to be shown how to work the child's pump correctly.
The family is also in need of some cups and silverware for their family to eat off of and drink out of as they do not have that right now.

The two oldest children in the home are wrestling. Since moving to this home, the family was trying to find a way to help them meet people and feel welcome and also feel like they are doing well. Wresting has done this for them, this is the most successful placement they have had to date. They are also looking to adopt the children, so that is a very positive outcome for them. They are taking first place in their meets and are really excelling, so they are able to continue on to higher competition. The family needs help to pay fees in order to make this happen for them. It is 200 per child, so 400 total and the family can't afford that on top of the other children in the home and their fees, but wants to make this happen for them.

Mom and dad have had hardships with family forcing them to live in a hotel. Family needs temporary funds to keep them at the hotel until they are approved for rapid relocation.
This father is a hard working parent , who has been given custody of his young child for safety reasons. The child is thriving and healing , the father has a full time job, and a vehicle that is no longer drivable ,the vehicle has engine or transmission problems that would cost more to repair than to just get another car. The father uses the vehicle to take his child to therapy , school and also to get to his employment site. We are hoping to raise 3,500.00 dollars so he can buy a working vehicle.
Thank you so much. Updated on January 23, 2023 by an Agency Worker We would also like to add that if someone has a dependable car they would like to donate to this family, please let us know. Your donation will greatly improve this family's situation, relieve a great deal of stress on this single father, and put dad and child on the road to success. Thank you for your consideration and all you do to make a difference in the lives of families!
An expecting mother of 5 is in need of a car seat. She has a high-risk pregnancy which has caused her to be unable to work and unable to afford a car seat. Providing this car seat would ensure that the mother has a safe way to transport the child for postnatal appointments as well as back and forth to day care once the mother goes back to work. The mother is having a boy.

Hello! I have two siblings who were placed in foster care last year in April due to parents' substance use and mental health concerns. The kids were placed with a family friend and they have been AMAZING in helping to take care of him and his sister while they are in foster care. One thing that the family has been struggling with was being able to afford to pay the kids' activity fees to make sure that they still are able to live like regular children and participate in their regular activities while the kids are in their care. The younger brother has been participating in soccer and is SO talented at it, and his older sister participates in theatre and theater camps. Anything would be so appreciated in helping this family out!
KVC is requesting assistance housing an 18-year-old female and relative placement after a landlord failed to pay taxes on their property. This child and placement were evicted through no fault of their own when a bank foreclosed on the property without the landlord notifying the family. This child is attempting to set her life up for post-care and is working long hours in a different city. $1200 is requested but any amount will help.
Three siblings have been significantly acting out after visits with parents and there are concerns for them hurting one another. With a 2-level home, foster parents are unable to see the children when they are in their room and need a baby monitor with video capability to ensure the children's safety while they are cooking dinner or are in other areas of the home. This need is urgent as the children have become very physically aggressive with one another and others in the household as well.
