The agency has been court ordered to assist a teen mother with obtaining a cell phone to maintain contact with her caseworker and agency. A pre-paid phone for at least 6 months-1 year. We would also like to request a tablet to assist her with participating in services for the agency.

I am requesting assistance to help a young adult who is 18 years old and in foster care. He has been accepted to a university, and will be moving to his first Supervised Independent Living placement (SIL) College dorm outside of Houston. This is his first home that he will live in independently after living in foster homes. He is currently in his last semester of high school and expects to graduate in the end of May 2025. He is currently unemployed and has been diligently applying to part time jobs to help him cover his cost of living. He is in need of assistance of purchasing a mini fridge, school supplies (pens, binder, etc.), Tupperware, first aid kit, umbrella, shower cady for his dorm. Any assistance he would be grateful. PAL (Preparation for Adult Living) is taking 20 youth to a college conference. This conference allows foster youth to hear from youth with lived experience who are currently attending college, benefits for attending college, and getting youth excited for their future. We are in need of additional assistance for some items needed:

• 20 beach towels
• Snacks for 20 youth for three days
• Hygiene packs (body wash, shampoo and conditioner, wash cloth, mouth wash and deodorant)

Mom and dad live in the home with their 10 children. Mom started her new job 1 week ago. Mom and dad received an eviction notice that stated the family has 3 days to vacate. Dad stated he has some of the money but needed assistance. Dad works out of town, which leaves mom at home alone to care for the 10 children alone. Mom and dad would really benefit from one-time assistance. Dad stated he could maintain his family's stability if he receives one time assistance.

A young Mom and dad live in the household with their toddler son. Mom was laid off from her job and could not pay her portion of the rent. Mom and dad are in college and doing the best they can to take care for their son and maintain their stability. Mom and dad needs immediate help with one month of rental assistance to remain in their home with their son. Mom is working with uber and door dash to maintain their stability after receiving assistance.

3-year-old and 4-year-old girls in need of clothing sizes 3T and 4T, shoes sizes 8 and 10, and pull ups 3T and 4T.

Youth will be aging out of care soon. Youth is currently looking for full time employment to be able to pay her bills independently. She is currently focused on catching up on rent and utilities. Assistance with groceries is needed if possibly.

This is a sibling group of 5 but 4 are in the same placement. They are currently living with family. Their family is doing everything they can to make sure all of their wants and needs are being met. They could use some assistance with basic necessities like clothing and under garments.

They are in need of school uniforms; They can wear any color. Navy Blue, Light Blue, Maroon, White, Khaki

Male student age 17 passed from being hit by car and mental illness. Sibling age 14 grieving. Mother passed away from cancer a few years ago. Father works but does not have all of the money for funeral of 3,000 dollars and add ons. Father reports that student's organs saved three lives, a teen, a toddler and middle aged woman and that his son would have wanted it that way because he was kind. Hospital is going to provide some of the costs but has not informed parent as of yet. Father says any help would be appreciated as he counting on donations to help with services. I am reaching out to request your support in helping a young female adult aging out of foster and moving into her first apartment. She is in need of the following items: full size bedsheets, comforter, pillows, pots and pans, cups, bowls, spoon, forks, plates, knife, can opener, mop, broom, cleaning supplies, female hygiene products, and dining room set. I have a caregiver that just took in her Godson during an emergency situation. She is a single mother with 4 children of her own. The child she brought in is a 14-year-old teen male. The caregiver will not get any financial assistance as she is in the process of moving out of state and will not have time to have a home study completed to get financial assistance. The caregiver is worried about being able to provide enough food for everyone on her single income, especially since she has all teenagers. The caregiver would like assistance with getting some groceries from HEB or Aldi.

We have a family displaced to a hotel in the Hobby airport area. We have helped them in various ways including providing mileage reimbursement. However, 2011 Volkswagen Routan SEL has broken several times. She says it gets overheated and uses alot of oil. In addition, the battery is dead. We are not sure exactly what is needed.

The parent was able to replace her battery yesterday. She put oil in it, but it all leaked out. She was able to call a mobile mechanic, and he told her the part that she needed to order from Amazon. It will be here tomorrow. He wants $450.00 for labor. Our new request is someone to put the part on or an affordable resource.
