Mom and dad live in the home with their 10 children. Mom started her new job 1 week ago. Mom and dad received an eviction notice that stated the family has 3 days to vacate. Dad stated he has some of the money but needed assistance. Dad works out of town, which leaves mom at home alone to care for the 10 children alone. Mom and dad would really benefit from one-time assistance. Dad stated he could maintain his family's stability if he receives one time assistance.

3-year-old and 4-year-old girls in need of clothing sizes 3T and 4T, shoes sizes 8 and 10, and pull ups 3T and 4T.

Male student age 17 passed from being hit by car and mental illness. Sibling age 14 grieving. Mother passed away from cancer a few years ago. Father works but does not have all of the money for funeral of 3,000 dollars and add ons. Father reports that student's organs saved three lives, a teen, a toddler and middle aged woman and that his son would have wanted it that way because he was kind. Hospital is going to provide some of the costs but has not informed parent as of yet. Father says any help would be appreciated as he counting on donations to help with services. I have a caregiver that just took in her Godson during an emergency situation. She is a single mother with 4 children of her own. The child she brought in is a 14-year-old teen male. The caregiver will not get any financial assistance as she is in the process of moving out of state and will not have time to have a home study completed to get financial assistance. The caregiver is worried about being able to provide enough food for everyone on her single income, especially since she has all teenagers. The caregiver would like assistance with getting some groceries from HEB or Aldi.

We have a family displaced to a hotel in the Hobby airport area. We have helped them in various ways including providing mileage reimbursement. However, 2011 Volkswagen Routan SEL has broken several times. She says it gets overheated and uses alot of oil. In addition, the battery is dead. We are not sure exactly what is needed.

The parent was able to replace her battery yesterday. She put oil in it, but it all leaked out. She was able to call a mobile mechanic, and he told her the part that she needed to order from Amazon. It will be here tomorrow. He wants $450.00 for labor. Our new request is someone to put the part on or an affordable resource.

1 year old baby girl in need of diapers size 5 and wipes.

I have a caregiver that took in her 16 year old cousin. She is needing assistance with picking up a bed and desk for the child. The 16-year-old is currently sleeping on an air mattress and I was able to request a bed and desk for him but the agency providing the products are not able to deliver. The caregiver would like assistance with picking up the items or assistance with getting a uhaul truck so she can pick up the items. The items have to be picked up on May 12th at 8220 Mosley Rd, Houston, TX.

Mother and 2 children have relocated from Waco, Texas to be closer to family. Mom has been able to obtain an unfurnished two-bedroom apartment for her and her children. The mother is currently trying to enroll her son in school and find gainful employment. The children's ages are male 14 and female 3. Requesting assistance for the family so the mom can create a safe and stable home environment for the children.

We have a young mother and child age 1 that the shelter has obtained housing for her. She has no family support system and is in need of everything for her apartment. The apartment has the basics refrigerator, stove, washer and dryer etc. She has no pots, pans, towels, furniture, silverware, laundry baskets, cleaning supplies and things of that nature. She is also in need of a stroller for the child.

The bed size needs to be a twin. The room is not large enough to accommodate a full-size bed.

The screen door that goes to the backyard is broken and makes it nearly impossible for the kiddos to get out there and play. Not only is this a safety concern, but the two kids are always out playing in the backyard and this has hindered that. Screen door 81" L x 36" W (approximately, measured by FP)

The foster mom reached out to the case manager because the backyard porch has been collecting water when it rains. The family isn’t sure how to fix it but they’d like to find a solution so the foster child can keep playing with their toys outside without any issues.

The family is requesting assistance with repairing their porch; they are thinking about either a deck or raising the concrete but will be thankful for anything.

THIS AMOUNT IS UNKNOWN at this time. If several folks pitch in together, for labor and wood, etc., then the amount could be "any amount." Help a Teen Prepare for Hospital Admission This Week

A teenage girl in our care is being admitted to a long-term psychiatric hospital this Wednesday to receive urgent mental health care.

The hospital has a strict dress code, and she doesn’t currently have enough clothing that meets the requirements. We are asking for help by collecting Walmart gift cards or arranging a Walmart pickup order to purchase 10 changes of plain clothes and 3 pairs of shoes before her admission.

The estimated total to get clothes from Walmart is $250. Gift cards of any amount are appreciated—even $10 or $20 will help us meet her needs.
