Child has grown up in and out of foster care. Child was raised without knowing who his father was. In 2023 Mother named a man, after DNA results, in Dec 2023- the child found out who his biological father was. Much to father's surprise, as he was informed he could not have children. Father quickly began visiting and getting to know his son. Over a year has passed since they have first met and things have dramatically changed for father and son. They attend family therapy together and are building their relationship. Father was displaced after breaking up with his girlfriend who was not welcoming to the child, after the breakup father was set to move to a home in Pasadena in Jan 2025. Sadly, the home they were supposed to move into- was burned down by the Eaton Fire. Father found housing in Glendora. Father is in need of a couch, dining table and even a TV. Child loves to play video games and uses video games to escape and get his mind off of things such as the emotional toll that visits with his mother and siblings. Father has worked so hard to be able to find a stable place that court can release the child to, and despite his initial home that burned down; he did not give up and did not let that bring him down.

The student and family is currently homeless. The family will be moving into an apartment in a day or 2. The family is in need of (4)dressers, (1)toddler bed, couch, coffee table, dining table, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, and blender.

I am reaching out on behalf of a single mother with six children who is currently in need of support. The family was recently displaced from a room they had been renting and, thankfully, has now secured their own apartment. However, they are in need of essential household items to help make their new space livable and comfortable. Some of the immediate needs include: Microwave, Dining table, Pots and pans, Plates and utensils, Towels and blankets. A dedicated student who will be graduating this June from Riverside City College with her RN certification is a single mother who has shown remarkable commitment in managing her academic responsibilities, parenting, and limited work hours. Due to the intensity of the RN program, she is currently working reduced hours, making it challenging to cover the costs associated with the licensure process. Assistance with the following expenses will enable her to obtain her nursing license and begin employment as a registered nurse, with starting wages around $40 per hour. This will greatly enhance her ability to independently support herself and her son.

Caregiver, Paternal Aunt, Needs a crib for 2-year-old child. The child and their Sibling have been detained from mother and are being placed with paternal aunt. Caregiver has a bed available for the older child and is unable to get a crib/toddler bed for the 2 year old on short notice. Although, caregiver is having that challenge, caregiver is trying to her hardest to provide for the children. Furthermore, caregiver is committed to helping the family with the reunification process and maintaining the siblings together. The main reason I am requesting this need to be fulfilled is because the children are being placed with caregiver. This need is critical to ensuring that A two-year-old needs an adequate bed for basic well-being, safety, and emotional support. Adequate beds provide a safe and comfortable sleep environment, which is crucial for a child's physical and emotional development, especially in the context of potential trauma or instability experienced in being placed outside of their home. Hello, we are asking for some assistance to help support a struggling family in need. A single father of a 10-year-old, 18-year-old, and an adult disabled child was recently admitted into the hospital and there are serious concerns he may not make it, and if he does he won't be home soon due to recovery time. The children’s grandfather has stepped in, taking the responsibility of caring for the children while their father is in the hospital, but they are emotionally and financially struggling due to their circumstances.

Grandfather will not get any assistance or funding for the children for over 45 days or more so we are asking for some help in providing immediate help via a grocery card to help with food and a gas card to help carry them through this emergency situation.

The family lives in a small trailer in an RV park and another concern is they’re at risk of being evicted if they do not repair the trailer door. We have estimated that the hired cost to repair will be between $700-900 of if if anyone has access to have someone replace an RV trailer door this would be such a blessing for them. This will allow the grandfather to retain the housing for him and the children. The clients are 54 and 62-year-old caregivers, who are currently raising their 8-year-old grandson. They had to step in as his guardian, because both of his parents have issues with stability, have mental health issues and are unable to take care of him. The grandmother was laid off from her job and so they are living off of one income. They can really use help with clothing for their grandson and extra food for the household.  They would greatly appreciate any help. Thank you, Desirey

A families home recently burned down and they are currently in need of furniture, kitchen supplies such as pots and pans, spatulas, ect and undergarments for the student. Any help with help this family get back on track.

On April 3rd a family lost their home due to a fire which is currently under investigation. They lost everything. They were only able to grab a couple of clothes. They are currently in need of a couch. Anything will help this family get back on track.

Family of 6 has been struggling due to loss of permanent housing, they lived in a hotel for almost a year. They just recently secured an apartment and a place to finally call home. Family needs bed frames for their mattress, sofa and a microwave. The parent feels this need being met will bring a feeling of safety and normalcy which will impact the school age child positively both emotionally and academically.

We have an opportunity to bless a lovely lady with two small kids that has just completed her transition from homelessness to getting an apartment of her own. She’s worked really hard and would love some assistance getting some basic pieces of furniture secured. We have been able to provide a queen size bed and frame as well as two toddler beds with mattresses and bedding for everyone. We still need some assistance finding two small dressers for this family.
