We have a family who is on the verge of homelessness and is late on their rent. It would be helpful to get her late bill covered and would relieve a lot of stress on the child.

I have a single mother whose phone has been shut off. Her daughter suffers from seizures and mom utilizes her phone to get ahold of nurses when she has concerns, to make appointments and to schedule Medicaid transportation for those appointments. Once this need is met this will allow mother to continue to be able to contact her doctor with any other concerns and be able to schedule follow up visits for her daughter.

This request is urgent, needing $268 to turn a family's water back on. In the home is one child who is 6 years old and two working adults. Despite both adults having jobs, their hours have recently been cut which has made covering bills almost impossible in their household. Recently their water was shut off and will not be turned back on without paying the $268 that is currently due on the water bill. The family has outreached anyone they can think of for assistance but have come up short every time. This is a very hard-working family who is currently experiencing some hardships. The considerable distance to the children's school necessitates a dependable vehicle with safe tires for daily attendance. Furthermore, safe and operational transportation, dependent on having proper tires, is required for scheduled visits and for getting the children to and from vital medical appointments. Without assistance specifically for obtaining new tires, our client's ability to meet these fundamental responsibilities will be severely compromised, impacting the children's education, health, and overall stability. This assistance is requested to alleviate a critical barrier preventing the client from managing her household and caring for the children effectively during this period of financial strain.

KVC is hoping to help a 5M child enroll in a summer Reading Program. This child is passionate about reading and learning and his placement wants to help him not lose any of the progress he has made reading this school year.

The reading program is called: Summer Reading Skills through the Bishop Seabury Academy in partnership with Avila University!

I have a father in Ft. Scott area with an 8 yr. old little girl that is having a hard time paying his electrical bill. He currently owes Evergy $313.47 that is due 5/20/25 or his electric will be disconnected. This father did not realize that there are resources out there that could have assisted him with this, so he did not say anything until now. So, I apologize for the last-minute request. He would greatly appreciate the help.

Child came into states custody for neglect. The child was in wrestling at his old school and would like to join at the new school. The child was advised to go to the camp. The placement providers have 6 children in the home after taking in this child and two of the child's siblings. Funds are tight and they are unable to send him to wrestling camp.
