This request is on behalf of a young single mother of two active boys, ages 6 months and 5 years. Despite living with a disability, this mother has shown remarkable progress in learning and applying parenting skills. Her dedication to her children and willingness to grow have led to significant improvements in their home environment. She is currently in need of a highchair for her infant son, which will greatly support his development by allowing him to safely participate in family mealtimes and practice independent feeding. Meeting this need will not only enhance daily routines and bonding experiences but also reinforce the positive steps this mother has already taken in her parenting journey.

CHILDREN ARE BEING REMOVED FROM MOTHER'S HOME AND TO HELP PREVENT THEM FROM COMING INTO FOSTER CARE, FATHER IN TOPEKA IS IN NEED OF HELP. FATHER WILL NEED BUNK BED SET WITH TWO TWIN MATTRESSES AND BEDDING SET FOR 11 YEAR OLD GIRL AND 10 YEAR OLD BOY. FATHER APPRECIATES ALL THE HELP THAT CAN BE PROVIDED.

Both children are needing new bras as the ones they currently have are old or don't fit anymore. Both have expressed the need for this to their foster home. One child is in need of size 38D bras with no underwire and the other child is in need of size 28A or 28AA bras. Both would prefer neutral colors.

We have an amazing family working with us, and our program. They have really been showing up and working hard over the course of the last year or so. However, the primary caregiver lost his job and they quickly fell behind on bills. He has since obtained another job, but the backlog of expenses is proving to be difficult to manage. Our agency is able to help with some expenses, but not all of them, and they could really use some additional support to keep their utilities on and their children safely in their care!

Single mother of two children. Her 14yr old son is currently receiving mental health treatment but does not have a bed for when he comes home due to it falling apart and mom having to throw it out. They are requesting help with a bedframe, mattress and bedding for a full-size bed. Family is participating in additional services within the community and appreciate any help possible.

Single father of four searching for support in applying for a housing option. $50 application fee is requested due to opportunity for father to apply for apartment to reintegrate with his four children. Once housing is secured father's four children are ready to return home to him. Father has worked diligently to regain custody of his four children and housing is his final barrier.

Family needing assistance with obtaining a couch, loveseat, and/or chair. Mom and dad have conflicting work schedules causing one parent to not attend work, as one parent would need to be home to care for the three children. This family is considered to be low income because of the barriers around schedules. Mother was just hired for a warehouse position that would allow both parents to work their assigned work schedules. The family have to utilize public transportation to be able to get to and from work or they rely on family/friends. This would relieve a lot of stress off of the family. The family would be grateful for any assistance provided.

A single parent with two children (eldest is 10, nearly 11; youngest is 1 year of age) is attempting to move out and is need of a stroller and a pack and play for when the family secures housing. The parent's main method of transport is walking, and they bring the youngest child with them everywhere they go. This child is still learning how to walk, and the child is growing to the point that it may be difficult for the parent to constantly carry them. Therefore, a stroller would help the parent and youngest child function as a family.

A pack and play would be appreciated as well so that the parent can securely set the infant down to attend to other responsibilities and to prevent the infant from getting into anything that they shouldn't.

These items should ideally be new, but secondhand is also welcome.

A family made up of a single parent and two children are requesting 3 twin sized mattresses, 3 twin bedframes, and 5 sets of twin sized sheets and comforters. They currently do not have any furniture whatsoever due to recently moving and restarting their lives. They are requesting black comforters and sheets. Secondhand bed frames are welcome, but mattresses should be new.

This will help improve the well-being of the children due to the need for a good night's sleep, and it will also assist the parent in caring for the children as well as possible.
