The Department currently has an open CPS investigation on this family due to mom's mental health. Mom is actively seeking mental health treatment, and both mom and dad are demonstrating adequate protective capacities. The dad had to quit his job to be home with the mom in order to care for her, and the family is struggling financially. The family's home was affected by the recent tornado and their home lost power, and all of their food went bad. When their power was restored, their refrigerator appeared to have shorted and is no longer functioning. The family has very limited groceries and has no way of keeping their food frozen/refrigerated now. There are 4 children under the age of 8 living in the home.

A foster family new to traditional foster care has just accepted placement of two little ones, ages one and three. To procure daycare for them, the foster family needs to pay an initial $135 for the child care application fee for both the children. Please help this family by meeting this monetary need to ensure a good experience for both the children in their care and for the adults new to providing this care.

Bio mom and child are doing well together. Bio mom was a substitute teacher during the school year, but hours have dwindled in the past month, and she is now in need of assistance for her electricity bill and her car insurance. Bio mom is currently looking for work and is in the process of interviewing for a couple places. In the meantime, she needs help to keep her electric services and transportation. Assistance will help strengthen this family and reduce stress.

The family is in need of financial assistance for a hotel stay for 3-7 days. Meeting this need for the family will allow the family a place of stability while continuing to work towards a housing arrangement.

This family has worked really hard towards reunification, they have inherited a house and there are things that need to be worked on before the children can come home. I have a 15 year old girl in a group home who needs an Ipad and IPad pen. She is going to be adopted and this would help her in life.

Minor client recently entered out of home care. Minor client is placed in kinship placement with paternal aunt. The placement of the minor child who has some special needs and placing with family to keep her with family to aid in her being less stressed. The foster mother (paternal aunt) has reported that she needs assistance with a toddler bed and mattress and booster car seat with a back. These items are appreciated to assistance the family.

Please assist with funds for "Pro-active parenting" classes at Family and Children's Services. The cost in full is $80 and the foster mother is hoping to complete the classes soon.

The Kinship Foster Family is having financial difficulties after the family's work vehicle broke down leaving the primary financial provider without work for several weeks. The family has had two custody children in their home since 07/17/2024 but have not been able to be approved due to missing records from another State. The other State is reporting a 4–9-month delay for the missing records but were requested in February. The missing records are required Federally for financial assistance. The family is struggling with their house payment due to the unexpected financial difficulties.

An aunt and uncle took in their two nephews (11 & 15) and niece (9). The three children were previously being neglected in several ways, and need new shoes for the summer. These children are respectful, smart, and active. They enjoy bike riding and walking around their neighborhood, which has worn their shoes down. Please help if you can!

Please help a grandmother who has taken in three of her grandchildren. The grandmother is doing an excellent job caring for the littles. She has enrolled the children in counseling and has provided transportation to counseling appointments and back and forth from school. We would like to alleviate some of the grandmother's financial burden by providing her with a gas card. Thank you.
