'E' is an adorable 1-year-old baby girl who is now living with her grandparents. They have a houseful so there is lots of love to go around. They have become a licensed foster care home so they could take care of their precious granddaughter. Their finances recently changed so it has been a little tighter than they expected. Can you please bless them with some Diapers Sizes 6-7, a gently used or new dresser, and some new or gently used clothing for their granddaughter? Thank you for anything that you can help with.
Mom has fallen behind on her rent due to being off work to care for her grandson who she now is living with her and two other children. Her rent is $829.00. She gets charged a $25 late fee on the 4th and an additional $5 a day on top of that. Once she can get June's rent paid she will be able to manage on her own. If we could please assist her with a few groceries that would be wonderful too so we can ensure that they have some food in the home. Thank you for any help that you can give this very worried grandmother. She doesn't want to be evicted from their home.
'I' is a 19-year-old male that is moving into an adult residential program as he prepares to be released from foster care. He has worked hard to graduate high school and is ready to move into adult services. 'I' is a delight who cares for others deeply. He loves to talk about Legos and computer games. Can you please help him with a few new or gently used items that would help him? Thank you so much for anything that you can do, we appreciate you so much!
Mother lives with her 6 children:(Male, 5 years old),(Male, 6 years old),(Male, 9 years old),(Male, 10 years old),(Male, 12 years old), (Male, 15 years old). The family recently lost their home to a house fire. The family just obtained a new house to live in but are without many basic items. The mother and children are currently sleeping on the floor and on air up mattresses; beds for the children to share or have independently would be extremely beneficial to the family. They are in need of socks, underwear, and clothes (ranging in all boy children sizes from 6-8, 10-12, 14-16, 18-20). The boys have a couple sets of clothing each at the moment.
A, who is a13-yr old male, B, an 11-yr old female, A, 4-yr old male, and A, 1-yr old male, have a hard-working dad who is trying his best to support his children and father who live with them. They have all been living in a small 2-bedroom apartment but now they are able to move into a home this week and have a little more room for their family of 6. Can you please help them with some new or gently used beds and items for the kitchen and living room? Thank you for anything that you would be willing to give a new home to. This will really help them. We are so grateful for anything that you can donate to this family to help them.
N is a 15-year-old female and her sister, P, is a 14-year-old female. They are now living with their sister and are happy to be able to be together. Unfortunately, their mother passed away and their dad is in prison. They are so blessed to be able to live with their older sister. Their sister has such a big heart, she is also a kinship placement for 3 younger kids also. It would be such a wonderful help to this family if we could find some way to give them new or gently used beds and some clothing for the two teenagers. They could use either 2 twin beds or a bunkbed set, they will be grateful for whatever can be provided so the teens have a bed to sleep in. Thank you for anything that you can help with. Box springs are only needed if the bed frame requires it.
Single mom of 7 children, she works hard to provide for her children. She is asking for help for a King and Queen size frames and mattresses.
she is also asking for help with pots and pans and cooking utensils.
The Wichita Office Intake Department is in desperate need of some items for children coming into care. Most children come into care with only the clothes they have on and we would like to make the transition a little easier for them by providing what they call a 48-hour Go Bag. This bag contains two sets of clothing, pajamas, socks, and underwear/diapers depending on the age of the child, personal hygiene items, a brush/comb, a bottle and formula for the babies, and a stuffed animal with a blanket. The kids really like these bags and have commented that they make them feel like they have something of their own in a time when everything is scary and unknown. We would greatly appreciate any help you can give us with this need.
New or gently used items would be such a blessing:
Summer Clothing in multiple sizes for boys and girls; underwear, socks
Diapers - Sizes Newborn - 6, Baby wipes, Bottles, Formula of different kinds
Combs, Hairbrushes, Hair ties
Personal hygiene items, small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, floss, toothpaste, deodorant
Throw blankets
DCCCA is assisting a single father who is self employed working outdoor jobs and does everything he can to ensure his child’s needs are met. Dad has been working on his sobriety but has recently been struggling. His counselor recommended he take a substance abuse court for further his understanding of his triggers. Getting a donor to cover this fee would be a tremendous help for this family so that the father can allocate money into meeting the needs of his child while still prioritizing his sobriety.
This 21 year old has been working as a CNA as they continue working on becoming a nurse. This year has been more difficult as they had a pay cut from their normal wages and have not been able to get as many hours as they would like at their job. This individual has now fallen behind on their water bill (owes $179.92) and has been unable to pay rent (owes $1,038) for the past 35 days. The client has reached out to center of hope for assistance but due to not being at the point of eviction, they were unable to assist. This individual would greatly appreciate any assistance able to be provided as they do not want to fall further behind on bills nor end up homeless.

M is a 6-year-old male, N is a 4-year-old female, and E is a 2-year-old male who are reintegrating with their mom at the end of this month. Mom just recently started a new job so she is low on funds. Can you please help them with some food, gently used dressers for the children's clothing, and a few new or gently used outfits for the children? Thank you for anything that you can help them with. We are so grateful to all of you.
The father has been removed from the home. Mom and her daughters have very limited support and are not able to fix things around their home. The motor/fan in their whirlpool fridge/freezer went out. Mom found a place in Wichita (Washer Specialties) that can fix it if it is taken out of the appliance, brought there, and then it would need to be reinstalled. They do like this fridge, although it is rather old. The family has purchased an extra mini fridge to make up space in the meantime, but are unable to get this one fixed without help.
