A grandmother's three grandchildren have been placed in her care by DFS due to neglect and abandonment. The grandmother works hard to make ends meet but needs a little extra help. She has been praying for services and has finally found some hope. She states she is grateful for any help provided. The items needed are listed below.

Two children were placed in a fictive kin home. The children's mother recently passed away from cancer and their father is unable to care for them properly. The caregiver has six children of her own but is ready to take on the challenge of these two little ones as she wants them to be in a safe, stable and loving home. Although she is employed and her husband is on disability, she needs a little help to get her started. The items needed are listed below.

A two-year-old little girl was placed in her grandmothers care by DFS due to her mother being drug addicted. The grandmother works hard to care for the child but needs assistance with summer clothing and pull-ups. She is trying to potty train the child but has concerns about her health and being slightly behind. So, a potty chair would be helpful also. The grandmother suggests her granddaughter may be on the spectrum and plans to have her evaluated. Items needed: Clothing size 3T (Summer) 4/5t pull-ups Potty chair

A single disabled mother of one has taken three nieces and two nephews. She currently receives disability and is trying to find other creative ways to bring in extra income. She did not want the children to go into foster care, so she is trying to do her best provide what is needed for them. There are a few items that she needs assistance with to get her started. These items are listed below. Tall dresser (7-8 drawers)

This resilient youth was primarily raised by her grandmother. She had moved out of state to reconnect with her bio mother, but soon found herself in a negative and unstable position. Unfortunately, this caused her to lose everything and almost end up homeless. Grandmother reached out, and helped her get back to Philadelphia but had just moved into a senior living facility which does not allow the youth to stay there. Due to her urgent situation, we accepted her into our transitional housing program, but she has very minimal possessions. In order to prevent her from becoming homeless, she is scheduled to move in by Wednesday but she needs: a twin mattress and box spring, a mini fridge, a bathroom set (shower curtain, trash bin, soap dish, bath rug, etc.), bath towels and wash clothes, pillow/s and bedding for a twin bed, hangers, and a few small bins to store things in. Her favorite color is sky blue! Please help Prevent this youth From becoming homeless!

These resources are grandparents caring for their grandson, age 2. The grandmother is retired, and grandfather has medical challenges that limit his ability to work, therefore limiting the household income. The resources are seeking help with clothing for their grandson for summer, as he has quickly grown out of his clothing. Any help is appreciated.

CCS CUA 4 is requesting assistance for a single mother. She and her children moved and needed to disposed their beds. Mother is sleeping in the living room while the children share her bed. Mother is requesting assistance with 1 twin size bed with a mattress and a set of bunk beds (twin size). In addition, she would like 3 dressers so they can organize their clothing.

Five teen moms have taken a bold step to grow in their faith. These young women have experienced a life filled with challenges; some have faced instability, loss, or deep hurt at a young age. Despite this, they do their best to grow, heal, and become better moms for their children. As they begin this journey, we hope to gift each of them a Bible to support their spiritual growth and help them stay rooted in God's word. Having their own Bible will allow these young moms to read, reflect, and grow in their relationship with Christ while building a foundation that will impact their lives and their children's lives.

We are looking for a gently used or new bed frame, dresser, and nightstand. Mom already has a mattress and needs new bedding. She is a single mom of two children under the age of 3, and has worked extremely hard to provide a place where she and her children could continue to grow in faith, life, and leadership.

This request is for a family of 4 who recently moved to a new home and is facing financial hardship after the father lost his job just before the move, leaving them to rely on a single income. The children (ages 2 and 4) have bedframes but are in need of two twin-size mattresses and 2 pillows to create a proper sleeping space. Providing these items will help the family settle into their new home and ensure the children have a comfortable and safe place to sleep.

A great aunt has guardianship of her three great nieces. She is on a limited income due to her disability and receives limited financial support for caring for the girls. The girls are all outgrowing their clothes, and the family does not have extra funds to afford many new clothes for them, especially with the recent jump in Delmarva bills. The family has tried the clothing closets that I've suggested and has not been able to find much in the girls' sizes. The oldest girl is playing lacrosse and is especially in need of leggings and athletic clothes. Any help is greatly appreciated.
