Mom is currently a participant in Family Treatment Drug Court she is currently in Phase three and progressing well. The team is requesting financial assistance for mom to purchase clothing items for the boys for back to school. Mom states most all of clothing items for the 8yr do not fit him anymore. Mom is requesting pants, shirts and undergarments size husky 9-10. Mom is currently unemployed and does not have the financial resources that would allow her to pay for the requested items herself. Mom is engaged and compliant with Family Treatment Drug Court and actively working towards reunification. This would benefit the family by allowing mom to have the items she needs for the boys. Any help with this request is greatly appreciate.

This kin-like provider has taken in 2 children with whom this Department works and she has also taken in her younger sister as her parents aren't available for her. This provider works but also has other duties related to helping the children. Kin provider takes the children to therapy every week and drives them to school and picks them up as the distance is too far for the children to walk. While this provider is trying to meet all the children's needs, other financial problems have come up for her, such as: provider's car is not working and she was faced with the choice of paying to fix her car or paying rent. The provider also reported that she's also having difficulty paying for other things including hygiene and laundry products, gas, etc. This provider is single and very responsible. The provider recently applied for a job, which is near her home. She is able to walk to this job, but she's waiting to see if she got the job. The provider currently works in Pueblo, as that's where she was working before she got the children. The children love being with this provider and think of her as their parent, and they want to remain with her. It is hoped that if she gets the $500 gift cards, she can use them to fix her car, pay bills, and get the appropriate items the family needs.

A mother who is working to reunify with her children has just run out of food and food stamps. While her application is processing to renew her benefits, she needs a little extra support to get her food through the next two weeks. Could you help her supplement necessary items with a ($75) Walmart or VISA gift card? Her lack of transportation makes it difficult to get to the food banks, and we want this Mother to have as much support as she can during this difficult time. Thank you for your consideration!

We have a grandma who is on a fixed income and taking care of her 4 year old granddaughter so she doesn't have to be in foster care while the child's mom engages in a voluntary DHS program. The grandma recently had to move which caused her extra expenses. the grandma does not have extra income to purchase winter shoes, clothing, or jacket. The child is a 4t/5t. we are open to used items. I am asking for used clothing or $100 gift card to be able to purchase the above items. The child is bright and sassy, so clothing that matches that personality would be a plus.
The grandma is also responsible for transporting the child at lease 2-3 times a week to visitation with the mother. We are requesting a $30 gas card to assist with this need. this request can be split among multiple people if someone is only able to do the gas card or clothing.

I am working with a family that is not able to access community resources and needs some help with rent. Mom works full time and is supporting 3 children at home. Dad is not able to be in the home right now but is paying half the rent. Mom just needs some extra help to maintain her home and provide for her kids. 2 of the children are in school and one stays home with a babysitter which mom pays out of pocket.
Thanks so much for helping this family.
