An 8-year-old-child is in need of support.

The caregiver of an 8 year old girl recently passed from Cancer. The child's aunt has been located and the girl will be moving in with her aunt and 6-year-old cousin. They are making space for the 8-year-old but are in need of assistance in acquiring beds for both children and a dresser for the 8-year-old as she is currently storing her clothing in trash bags and sleeping on the couch. This would be significant in reducing the strain on the family unit as they acclimate to their new family make-up and help the child feel a sense of belonging and normalcy after her current hardships.

This family is pioneered by a single mother who recently moved into an apartment with her child. Currently, they have a lack of furniture to accommodate them. The mother has a limited income and has not been able to buy furniture. The family is in need of a couch, coffee table, and other miscellaneous furniture for the home. By fulfilling this request, the family will be able to feel more comfortable in their new home.

This request is to help a single mother of five children to make her home more comfortable for her children. Mom has had to have her air conditioning repaired, and is currently replacing a refrigerator that stopped working. Mom is in need of a bunk bed frame for two of her boys, because the frame they used to have was old and brittle, and broke. Mom is only in need of the frame and already has mattresses for the boys, but the children are currently sleeping on mattresses on the floor.

Family consists of father, mother, and three children. Mom stays home while father earns income as a handyman, working odds and ins jobs. Income meets needs to maintain household only. Two of the three children are school age, 7 and 10, who will need clothing and shoes, specifically for the upcoming school year. The male is 7 years old. He wears size 7/8 shirts, 7/8 shorts/pants, 7/8 undergarments, and size 12 shoe. The 10-year-old is a girl. She loves leggings (blacks and taupe) size 12/14 and shirts to match 12/14, undergarments 12/14, and size 5 shoe.

This family has secured an apartment but cannot afford to fully furnish it. Dad, recently lost his job, rent is paid for this month. They need a sofa, beds, kitchen utensils, and the basic items for living. The children are ages 9 and 4, and grandma lives with them as well. They've been coming to Lighthouse Church as a result of using the pantry on site.

A blessed opportunity to help a young, Christian family make it through a very difficult time in the heat of summer. A mother and father trying to secure a roof over their young children and feed their family. Tragically, the mother just lost her baby during delivery; father had to take time off from work to take care of her. He is back working but they are behind a few paychecks.

They need help to stay in a hotel for 2 weeks while they save money to rent an apartment (the apartment isn't ready yet). They could also use help with essentials and food.

If we can help them now, it will stabilize their income and resources for the future.

A family recently had to flee their family home and move into an apartment to escape domestic violence. They are starting over and need basic cleaning items, household items, toiletries, and grocery items. A Walmart gift card would greatly assist this family. Any donation is appreciated.

Single mother is in the process of moving into more affordable housing and working to improve her financial situation. She is experiencing major health issues which make it difficult for her to work and support her middle school aged daughter. She could use some help with some utility bills this month.

We currently are fostering 3 children and want to continue to make their experience meaningful. We have a 12 year old girl who could use some basketball shoes (size 7.5) and probably extra socks. We also have a sibling set ( girl 2, boy 1) who could use some pajamas. She wears 3T and he’s in 18month. Diapers and wipes are always needed. Thank you so much!
