Help Strengthen a Bio Family

This family of 5 has 3 very active children, 2 boys and 1 girl. They often will go through multiple outfits a day. The family doesn't live in town so going into town to do laundry is a real struggle. The children are also attending day camp, so having the advantage of multiple outfits a day is really important. They previously had a washer until recently, it stopped working. They need only a washer ASAP please!

Help Strengthen a Bio Family

This family of 5 just moved into a new home. The 3 little girls are so active and sometimes change their clothes multiple times a day. Both parents are working, and dad is attending some classes, so they also sometimes go through more than one outfit a day. They previously had a washer, but it just went out on them recently. They need only a new washer ASAP please!

Help Preserve a Foster Care Placement

This 12-year-old boy entered foster care on 7/1/25, and there have been very few placement options for him due to his age. He has been in emergency placement for the last week, and we found placement for him yesterday, but the foster parents both work during the day and need childcare for him. Most summer programs for older children are on a waitlist because school has been out for several weeks. Luckily, one of the Boys and Girls Club units were able to accept him and he was very excited to start today.

The weekly fee for this child to attend Boys and Girls Club is $35. He will be attending the last 4 weeks of the summer program, so he will need $140 total for the weekly fees, and $10 for the membership fee. His foster parents are in a tight spot financially, and they won't receive their maintenance payment for another month to help them with these costs. Boys and Girls Club is giving us more time to figure this out because of the circumstances. Any help with this will be appreciated!

Help Reunify a Bio Family

A strong couple, currently in recovery, is finally reuniting with their two young children. They’re about to move into their own apartment—an important step toward healing and rebuilding their lives together.

Right now, they’re in need of a washer and dryer. With finances tight with the move, they can’t afford this basic necessity. Having access to laundry at home will help them save money and create a more stable, healthy home for their kids.

Help Reunify a Bio Family

This family lost part of their home to a fire, during the fire the fire department had to have the electrical cut to the home as it was a danger. The family has worked to get the home rebuilt but is struggling to get the electrical taken care of due to the enormous cost. We are looking for help in the community to have electricians to come in and help this family get their home rewired and hooked back up to the main pole. If we could get this accomplished, then we as an agency could put the child back in the home.

Help Preserve a Foster Care Placement

A foster home in Delaware County is needing assistance with an air conditioning repair. It Is probably needing to be replaced altogether. The foster parent has had technicians look at it. She’s getting different answers. The unit is over 30 years old . The foster parent could have the unit repaired for around $700. Repairing or replacing would be wonderful. This is a foster parent who helps out with respite and emergency placements when our kiddos are in transition to a longer term placements. She is a bridge we are so fortunate to have. She rarely says no when asked to take in a child. It could be a day or a few days, She opens her home, no hesitation. With the summer upon us, temperatures are rising and temperatures are rising in her home. Taking in children is becoming more difficult as she is using portable air units and can only cool so many rooms. This limits her to how many children she will take in because she refuses to have the children sleep in a hot room. We really want to connect her with the right resources to fix her air conditioning unit, because she is not having any luck at this moment. We always appreciate the time to consider this request.

The foster mom is in need of a slim car seat with a shade (preferably a Baby Trend Trooper 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat with Canopy) to transport the child to medical appointments and other places. The child has medical issues and will have numerous appointments on a consistent basis. The car seat given by the parents was stained very badly and was not the proper size for a toddler. The foster parent cares for children with medical/ special needs and would greatly benefit from the support of having a versatile car seat that she can take wherever she needs to go.
