Once a church has been established to help this client, DHS Worker can give the church client's contact information as to client's exact size, style, etc... Thank you in advance for helping this mother gain employment so she can work on getting reunified with her children!

We have a mom currently in Pearl's Hope Transitional Living who is ready to pursue her driving lessons and work toward obtaining her license! She has driving lessons paid for but will need assistance to utilize Uber/Lyft to get to the driving school and to cover childcare for her two year old. The average cost for a round trip via Lyft to the driving school is roughly $70 and childcare will be approximately $30 per day. Information to pay the childcare directly will be provided. The mom needs at four separate driving lessons, making the total cost estimated at $400. This mom already has money saved to purchase and register a car, she just needs to do her lessons and feel confident behind the wheel! This request was active in October, but we delayed it to November due to scheduling conflicts with the driving lessons.

Burmese Family #1
Catholic Charities will welcome a Burmese refugee family in December. This family is a mom with three teenagers. We do not have beds for the family and would welcome help providing the family with beds. I do not have a firm date for when they will arrive in December, but we will set up their apartment on December 4th. Then after they are welcomed at the airport, they will go straight to their furnished apartment with their case manager!
Gender Neutral Items are best.
Catholic Charities will walk with this family thru immediate case management for 3 months after their arrival. We will help with apartment set up, legal documents (like SS#), job placement, establishing medical care, enrolling the kids in school, and much more. Helping the family with household items is a huge way to help the family get established in Tulsa!

These children live solely with their father, who is working to provide a safe home for them. The father is working to find employment, and has managed to get the children mattresses. The 9 and 11 year old share a mattress in their room, while the 5 year old has a mattress in her room. The father has put the needs of his children first, but needs an extra amount of help in order to improve his children's' lives. We appreciate any help given to this family. Blessings!

I have a 16 year old in an adoptive placement with her adult cousin. Their washer just quit working yesterday. There are also 3 other teens/pre-teens in the home. If you have or had teenagers, you know they make a lot of laundry!! If someone is able to fix it or provide a working machine, they would be very grateful. I have seen several on Facebook marketplace recently for $100 or less. Your consideration of this need is most appreciated. Have a fantastic day.

A FAMILY IS IN NEED. A single mom is needing help financially to get her and her sons birth certificate so that they can move into an apartment. The apartment complex needs to see both of them before they can apply for the apartment. It would be a great help so a mother and son can get their own place.
