Mom and dad live in the home with their 10 children. Mom started her new job 1 week ago. Mom and dad received an eviction notice that stated the family has 3 days to vacate. Dad stated he has some of the money but needed assistance. Dad works out of town, which leaves mom at home alone to care for the 10 children alone. Mom and dad would really benefit from one-time assistance. Dad stated he could maintain his family's stability if he receives one time assistance.

Male student age 17 passed from being hit by car and mental illness. Sibling age 14 grieving. Mother passed away from cancer a few years ago. Father works but does not have all of the money for funeral of 3,000 dollars and add ons. Father reports that student's organs saved three lives, a teen, a toddler and middle aged woman and that his son would have wanted it that way because he was kind. Hospital is going to provide some of the costs but has not informed parent as of yet. Father says any help would be appreciated as he counting on donations to help with services. We have a family displaced to a hotel in the Hobby airport area. We have helped them in various ways including providing mileage reimbursement. However, 2011 Volkswagen Routan SEL has broken several times. She says it gets overheated and uses alot of oil. In addition, the battery is dead. We are not sure exactly what is needed.

The parent was able to replace her battery yesterday. She put oil in it, but it all leaked out. She was able to call a mobile mechanic, and he told her the part that she needed to order from Amazon. It will be here tomorrow. He wants $450.00 for labor. Our new request is someone to put the part on or an affordable resource.

The foster mom reached out to the case manager because the backyard porch has been collecting water when it rains. The family isn’t sure how to fix it but they’d like to find a solution so the foster child can keep playing with their toys outside without any issues.

The family is requesting assistance with repairing their porch; they are thinking about either a deck or raising the concrete but will be thankful for anything.

She is unable to drive them in parent scooter anymore as her foot is in a cast. She will need to do this until end of school year in May. Can Care portal assist family that is receiving food stamps and now workman's comp for income and does not have car with an uber gift card to help some. There may be local programs in area that can provide shuttle safely, I found one for afternoon drop off only for 50 dollars a week but parent needs morning as well. They have no family here to help and child had to stay two days at home to help mother initially with broken foot.

The foster parent has not asked for any assistance with anything and has bought the necessities for the 1-year-old child. He is a big boy for his age, and she is hoping that she can get assistance with some Pampers, Swaddlers diapers, size 7. It is expensive, especially in this economy and she is a sole parent who has to pay all of the expenses. This little boy is very bonded with his foster parent, and she has sacrificed a lot to take him in and to show him what it truly means to be loved.

Single parent, due to loss of transportation was let go from store employment and is behind on rent. 5 children, ages 4, 13, 15, 16 and 17. Apartments has not had AC fixed in three weeks and just today inspector came to help them order the repair. She was able to pay partial rent and owes a balance 698.00 after going to court and given an opportunity due to A/C as well.. Any amount to assist will be helpful to the family that has been enduring difficult days with warm weather. Also, the parent, and older siblings are all looking for employment. We are meeting monday to help with Texas Workforce and resume writing.

The 15 year old teen boy is currently living with his great-aunt. He is a shy and kind boy who is always so excited when he gets to visit with his young siblings. He enjoys being on the football team and is currently practicing for basketball for next year. He has had issues with aggression and angry outbursts in the past and he has worked very hard to have no issues so far this whole school year. He has asked for a piano (electric and either mid-sized or full size) and a guitar. He would be happy with used or new items. The piano was his first choice but he would like both items if possible.
