Client recently took in her niece from foster care the last week of March and has no baby items at all. Client explained that her niece was dropped off with the county car seat, but since the car seat was taken back, has no way of driving and getting around with her niece. Her niece is 2 months old, and is high needs due to extenuating circumstances with the mother.

Client is looking for an infant car seat that straps into the car, and prefers Graco 0-65lbs. Client expressed needing a car seat as soon as she can get one, so she is able to take her niece with to appointments and other trips.

Per First Care's policy the car seat must be new. Thank you!

This family is a single mom with a one year old daughter who is expecting another daughter next month. Mom has had some medical issues that have caused her to miss some of her work and caused additional stress. She has been homeless and staying with family members and is working towards getting her own apartment. Mom is highly motivated and wants the best for herself and her daughters. Unfortunately, dad is not in the picture to help support her in the raising of their children.

The children need diapers (infant size 1 and size 6) and wipes. Infant girl clothes for summer, swaddles, pacifiers and teethers, infant toys, bottles (Avent/Dr. Brown), double stroller to fit a toddler and infant, Various Baby Supplies: baby shampoo/body wash, lotion (sensitive skin/eczema), bibs, bottle brushes

One of our 7th grade students just made the high school track team! The student is currently living with a family member and doesn't have access to funds to purchase new track shoes or socks. This student has made huge gains this school year and is so excited to be on the track team. We are looking for someone to purchase track shoes and socks. The student would like the Nike Zoom Rival Multi Track and Field Shoes in a size women's 8.5 and black athletic no show socks. The shoes are on sale at Dick's for $59.99.

Mom is a single parent with 3 girls (ages 17 yrs, 10 yrs, and 4 yrs). Mom had to step away from her full-time work to address her mental health and is struggling to meet the basic needs of her family. The support provided will offer relief so Mom can focus on her mental health needs and connect with community resources. The family needs help with household items, hygiene items, and cleaning supplies.

I have a single provider who has graciously opened her home to a kinship placement. This provider has 1 child of her own and has been struggling to make ends meet with the addition of another child in her home. For Anoka County to be able to license this home and preserve this kinship placement I have asked the provider to clean up the inside of the trailer home. She has expressed how she has so many plans for organizing and getting things tidy, but she does not have the funds to buy organizational items needed to make these dreams happen. At this time, I am requesting help with organization items that this family could benefit from to be able to eat together as a family so that everything isn't piled on top of the kitchen counters and kitchen table. She will use the Hutch to put her coffee pot, toaster etc on. Bins for cleaning supplies, food organization.

I have also added a surge protector extension cord for safety- the ones the foster child has in his room are not up to code and I made them get rid of them. Anything will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Single mom of six children recently obtained stable housing. Due to circumstances outside the family's control, their previous home became unlivable and they had to quickly leave-leaving behind key items of furniture. Family is looking for a Queen size mattress and a Full size mattress for mom and older children. Open to financial donations as well to help pay for mattresses for the family.

Spanish speaking couple of low economic means is requesting a thick area rug approximately 12' x 12' to cover cold ceramic flooring in at least one area of their apartment. 15-month-old daughter is happy to crawl on wooden floor in another apartment but doesn't like to be on ceramic floor and is missing important time crawling and developing skill in walking. If possible, a lighter neutral color is preferred, as apartment has limited windows and lighting. Per our organization's policy, we request only new items. Thank you.

Family of 5 children recently experienced a house fire that resulted in a total loss. The family is currently experiencing homelessness as they work to secure stable housing. Children age range from 1 year- 10 years old. Family is looking for size 4 and 6 diapers and wipes for little children. Also, the 10 year old son's shoes are totally worn out and he needs new shoes, size 6.5 shoe. Prefers Nike, neutral color, sneaker shoe.

This is a family that is facing eviction. The family members include: a first grade student, and her Mom and Dad. They live within Roseville. The family owes $7000.00 in rent and needs to pay it by April 30th. I know that is a large amount, so even some of it would be helpful.

Hi, The family was able to pay part of this. They are now looking for $5,000. Again, even if part of this could be covered, would be appreciated.

A single mom with a 10 month old boy is requesting a rear facing 5 pt carseat that is lightweight as she does not drive so is transferring it from vehicle to vehicle. This child has been reunified with his mother and this will assist her in ensuring that he is safely being transport. She is also requesting size 5 diapers and wipes as she is struggling financally and often very low on baby supplies.

Dad recently obtained custody of 5 kids from mother, who was struggling. Dad was living with Family and just obtained house. Family size is 6.

Mom is a single parent who has experienced a significant amount of trauma in her own childhood and into her adulthood. She is now raising her daughter alone with very limited social supports and trying to create a better life than what she had for her daughter. Mom is very motivated and wants to start her own business and has been working towards that but due to constant financial setbacks she is always struggling to move forward with the goals for her family.
