TCDSS is working with a family with 2 children. There are limited financial resources available. Family is in need of windows replaced in their doublewide due to a few being broke.

This family is living in a 2 bedroom trailer. The trailer needs some renovating done to the back bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom in the back needs new flooring and panels taken down and hauled away. This family is doing their best to make due with what they have in this situation and we would just like to fix this back bedroom so they have that to use.

This family is cared for by a single mother. There are four children in the home, some with special needs. This mother has had issues with her employer, and some cuts have been made. Due to these issues, the family is looking for assistance with rent. The full amount will be listed on the request, but whatever is received, is very much appreciated. By fulfilling this request, the chances of children coming into care are lowered, and stable housing will be secured.

A single mom to son is trying to get back into the swing of a "normal" day-to-day life after unexpectedly suffering from the loss of her other child. Mom is trying to find a job and is working on getting unemployment until she is able to find work. However, she is needing assistance with paying for gas and is looking for gas vouchers to take her son to his doctor and therapy appointments, school, and church.

This mom is in need of child care for her 6 month old son. Mondays from 6pm-9pm, Tuesdays 6pm-8pm, and Saturdays 9am-12pm at her home. She lives in Farmville but the Prince Edward Care Portal has no one to help at this time. This mom is a hard worker at her job daily and pays for his daycare. She is not able to pay for any more childcare at this time. She is trying to finish college and needs this help with child care to complete her classes. She is expecting another child now and wants to complete college to get a better job before her second child is born.

A single mother with two children living in a local mobile home park. The mother is currently in inpatient rehabilitation while her children are cared for by the maternal grandmother. The mother will be returning home this month. The mother's home does not have air conditioning. DSS is requesting a new or used window A/C unit for the family during the hot summer and early fall months.

Mother of two Autism children in need of two beds located at a local church. She has no way of moving the beds. The two beds are in storage and needs delivery to her Apt. She has moved from another state and has no connections.

A single mother is working on reunification with her two toddlers. The chain link gate to her front yard is broken and prevents safe use for her children. She is currently using a bungee cord to keep it closed. It may just need a new locking mechanism or a whole new gate.

Biological mom in need of children's bedding to be able to keep her children from entering foster care. The children are with their step grandmother now and they are hoping to come home tomorrow if mother can secure this bedding for them. We need two sets of sheets and 2 comforters/blankets for boys age 6 and 7 today or tomorrow

The parents of this 6 month old child are requesting assistance in purchasing formula, diapers and wipes for the child. The child was born premature and has recently been using more formula(almost a can a day) as she is developing well. The family includes other children and due to medical concerns for this child, the mother is staying home to care for the child and get her to her necessary appointments. The father is employed full time and provides for the family financially, but the family still requests help with purchasing some items, due to limited income. These items will help sustain and improve the child's health and well-being and they are essential for her growth/development. The following items are requested: -Enfamil NeuroPro EnfaCare Formula(blue can) -Pampers-Size 2 -Baby Wipes-Parents Choice(any fragrance)

Family of four—consisting of a single mother and her three children (ages 4, 9, and 10)—is currently in need of rental assistance. The mother had been receiving monthly SSI payments, but those benefits unexpectedly stopped a few months ago. Her caseworker is actively working to determine the cause and resolve the issue.

In the meantime, the family is facing the risk of eviction due to the loss of income. The mother is hardworking and committed to supporting her family but needs short-term assistance to catch up on rent. She is also working closely with a parent mentor, who has helped her develop a contingency plan in case her benefits are not reinstated soon. The mother is hopeful that her SSI payments will resume shortly.

There are environmental concerns with the family. The caregivers are attempting to clean out the home and are in need of storage containers to store items that they want to keep, but are not used often.
