A report was made to Forsyth Co DFCS regarding a 6 month old baby boy suffering from a skull fracture. Forensic interviews are needed for his siblings, but the mother does not have transportation and does not have the funding for Uber transportation. We are asking for Uber cards to get the family to the interviews.

Grandma and grandpa are taking care of their grandson (13) while the department works with the mother to improve her current state. Grandpa has been blind for 10 years and cannot collect disability, nor can he work. Grandma collects disability and the family lives off of this income. The grandparents need some assistance with funding for food while they are caring for their growing (and very hungry) 13 year old grandchild.

We are requesting support in the form of $50 gift cards for six new youth entering our emergency shelter to help them purchase underwear, basic clothing, and shoes. Many of the youth who arrive at Positive Impact International come with only the clothes on their backs and no access to essential items. Providing a gift card allows them the dignity of choosing items that fit their size, style, and comfort needs—something most of them have not had the opportunity to do. This small but meaningful gesture helps restore a sense of normalcy, boosts self-esteem, and reinforces our commitment to treating every youth with compassion and respect as they begin their journey to stability and healing.

We have a 19yo who signed herself back into foster care. She is currently in the Decatur area and is in need of help purchasing a 30 day bus ticket so she can start getting to her new job.

The child needs driving lessons in order to get her license. She took lessons 4 years ago and the court is ordering that she take them again. This will help her to get her license. She recently had to quit her job because Ubering back and forth to work became too expensive.

The caretaker and her daughter need some financial help paying for a TB test and a physical for her and her daughter to be established as a foster parent.

We have a 19yo girl who chose to sign back into foster care after leaving an abusive relationship. She is attending her GED program 2x/wk and cares for her 9mo son.
