A grandmother of now 5, is in desperate need of assistance with clothing, pampers, wipes, for her children. She had to relocate her entire life from Georgia to raise her 5 grandchildren. they are staying in an air b&b so no income is coming in and she cannot work due to the young ages of most of the children.She is look for donation and/or a gift card to Walmart or target of clothing, pampers, wipes, and diapers for all 5 children. The children's following sizes are: Baby boy- newborn-2 months Toddler 1(boy)-2t-3t Toddler 2(girl) 3t-4t Pre teen 1(girl)- aged, 10, Small shirts, pants 12(in children) Pre teen 2(girl)- aged, 12, Shirts medium, pants 14/16(in children)

Help Strengthen a Bio Family

We are reaching out on behalf of a young mother who is working hard to prepare for the arrival of her baby. At just 18 years old, she recently found out that she is six months pregnant and is facing this journey with strength and determination. However, she currently has nothing for her baby and is in urgent need of essential items to ensure a safe and healthy start for her little one. As she navigates this new chapter, we are hoping to gather support to help her with the basics. She is in need of a car seat and travel stroller, as well as newborn necessities like a diaper bag, bottles, blankets, and baby clothes (sizes 0-3 and 3-6 months for a baby boy). To help with baby care and breastfeeding, she also needs a baby nail kit, nipple cream, breast pads, a breast pump, baby hats, socks, and mittens. This young mother is doing everything she can to prepare, and any support would make a world of difference in helping her feel ready and supported during this time. Mom came to The Women's Network's Employment Program and graduated in December. She is working full time at Metal Finishing and kept her part-time job at Wendy's. She is now 8 months clean and has gotten the opportunity to move to a sober living apartment community where she will have her own 1-bedroom apartment. Her 17-year-old daughter is now living with her, and she frequently cares for her 2 grandsons who are 2 and 9 months old. The apartment is furnished with 2 beds (full and twin), a couch and a loveseat. Otherwise, she is creating a home from scratch. She's been given a few used dishes, sheets and towels. She specifically needs a kitchen table but could use help with a variety of household items like pots/pans, baking dishes, mixing bowls, can opener, small narrow dresser to place between the 2 beds and decorations.
