The Department has been working with the foster parents to navigate getting the children to the parenting time with their biological parents but there has been issues with getting a car seat available for transportation. The agency that is doing the transportation and the parenting time does not have a five point car seat and that is what is needed. The Department is asking if someone has either a car seat they would be willing to donate or a gift card to Walmart for the foster parents to buy an extra car seat for the child to have safe travel to and from her parenting time. The biological mother of a child that has been placed in foster care has had the utilities turned off in her apartment. She owes a total of $1700 with $700 needed to turn them back on. I am requested $500 toward the total to help her out.

This baby has lived with his parents and grandparents since the opening of the case. During the period of this case, both of his parents have complied with the Division and completed required treatment plans, and did not have positive UAs throughout the course of this case. The case is closing successfully with a reunification on 4/22. He is under one year of age and due to his age, he is growing fast. The family would benefit from getting a gift card to Walmart, Amazon or Target to get him diapers, clothes, and toys.

A baby came into care and is supported and cared for by a relative. The relative is needing a baby gate that does not have a bar (as many baby gates do) at the bottom, as the grandmother has limited mobility and cannot lift her leg very high, especially from a stair step. He is seven years old with a food aversion, causing him to only eat PediaSure. The placement provider is unable to supply his meals/PediaSure. Yes we do go to local food banks frequently however my wife just recently went through a very traumatic pregnancy and our son arrived 6 weeks early and spent 5 in the NICU and we were driving 40 miles to and from the hospital. We have a foster family of 7 with a baby due on May 3rd who is in need of help deep cleaning their home. They have a house full of teenage boys who do a good job on chores BUT they are teenage boys after all... These parents would love if an individual or group would be interested in doing a super deep clean so they can have a healthy, clean home for their baby's arrival. The weekend of April 26-27th would be ideal.
