A hardworking single mother of two young boys (ages 1 and 2) is facing a financial hurdle as she moves into a new apartment. After overcoming significant challenges, she successfully reunified with her children in the summer of 2024 and has been working full-time to provide for them. She has also maintained her sobriety for over 4 years now! Not only is she working full-time to provide, but she is working as an advocate who partners with parents who currently have children in the foster care system. Now, as her previous lease has expired, she must pay a down payment, first month's rent, and a deposit all at once to secure stable housing.

She has saved $300 toward these costs but still needs $900 to ensure her family has a safe place to live. If she is unable to pull together this payment, she is at risk of becoming homeless when her current lease expires in the next two weeks. Your support will prevent this mother and her little ones from experiencing instability and allow them to continue building a secure future together!

Hello - DHS is working with a kiddo who will be celebrating her 7th birthday next Friday. This kiddo was placed in her first foster home in the end or February and is having a hard time adjusting. Please assist us in helping this kiddo have a good seventh birthday away from home. She loves giant stuffies and enjoys reading. The father is requesting assistance with a pay as you go phone and minutes as he currently does not have a means for active communications. Providing father with a phone will ensure he is able to communicate with the professionals on the team, schedule family time, answer calls for employment opportunities, and participate in his treatment plan.

Our foster family of 7 with a baby on the way is in need of a meal train the week their baby is born (due date is May 3rd). We're hoping to have 5+ people sign up to each bring a large meal (10 servings) the week the baby is born. This will make a tremendous difference for this family as they transition into life with a newborn.

The family consist of two children ages 5 (male) and 2 years old (male). Due to mom being a domestic violence relationship, mom had to relocate temporarily to a family members home. She currently works 2 jobs to support her children. The mother does not have a car & the family member's home is even further away from the mother's full-time job. Mom was recently approved for an apartment for her and the children. Mom was able to come up with the deposit for the apartment ($2,200.00), but she is in need of assistance with the full first month's rent ($2,100.00) by the 7th of this month. Although mom is working, she is now the only source of income and provider for her family. She is starting over. Assistance with the full rent will help alleviate the stress not being able to move into their new home. Mom just passed her test this week as a Certified Pharmacy Technician that she is extremely proud of.

Yes we do go to local food banks frequently however my wife just recently went through a very traumatic pregnancy and our son arrived 6 weeks early and spent 5 in the NICU and we were driving 40 miles to and from the hospital.
