We have a single foster parent needing help with some past due bills. She has had 2 kiddos (ages 7 and 10) in her home for over 2 years and has loved and cared for them well. She just started a new job full-time and is excited with the flexibility it brings so the kids can stay in sports and she can be involved. Due to this change in jobs on top of having to get a new car due to issues with her old one- she has fallen behind on her utility bill and water bill and fears she can't catch up. She would be so appreciative of any assistance that is available. She will provide any account information needed for easy one-time payment. She is keeping her head above water and wants to ensure the kiddos are cared for. The utility bill is $560.57 and the water bill is $224.36. This is a critical request as it is needing to be paid asap to ensure the water stays on. If she gets caught up on this bill, she will be back on track and able to continue paying the bills moving forward.

The family began services looking for support with son who suffered a traumatic brain injury and is hoping to get him the proper supports in school to support his learning, mom has two additional sons and is single parent. At this time, due to mom's recent unemployment, mom does not have a cell phone to support school communications regarding her sons. The family is also experiencing food insecurity and would benefit from food/supermarket gift cards to buy food in small quantities as they have limited space due to mini fridge use in room.

CASA has a case with a 5-year-old boy who is non-verbal and has autism. He was abandoned at the hospital by his parent after a significant injury and has been in the foster system here in CO for almost two years. We believe we have found him a foster home who is willing to adopt him and accept all of his unique behaviors and struggles, but they have not had a placement before. We are looking to see if a community member would be willing to buy a booster seat with a 5-point harness (which is a must with his needs) and possibly a gift card to buy more items needed as he transitions to his new forever home. CPS has a father who was recently granted custody of a 2 year old boy and the father is desperately trying to gather child appropriate items for a 2 year on a limited budget and the father needs a toddler bed for a 2 year old boy. The father has worked his services for CPS and the court has commended his efforts that he has worked toward family reunification with his son. The father is in need of the toddler bed within the next 72 hours.

Due to illness, the child's mother was unable to work and fell behind on her rent. She needs $400 to complete her rent for this month.

Recently, this mother made the courageous decision to leave a long-term, mentally abusive marriage to seek a better environment and home for her 11-year-old son and herself. She has also started taking college classes to get her degree to provide future support. She is participating in Pathway's DivorceCare where she is building supportive relationships as she starts this new journey with her son. She is moving into her own apartment and is needing some essential items. Their favorite color is any color of blue. Her son is also a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. Her bedroom set is the queen size and his is the full size.

A family in our church had a five year old girl placed with them yesterday. She arrived with very little and needs basic items. She will be moving schools and the family has asked that she have some new items to ease this transition, along with every day items.

Our foster family of 7 with a baby on the way is in need of a meal train the week their baby is born (due date is May 3rd). We're hoping to have 5+ people sign up to each bring a large meal (10 servings) the week the baby is born. This will make a tremendous difference for this family as they transition into life with a newborn.
