A single father of a young infant who has been homeless for sometime is moving into an apartment. He is in need of all household items for the home. He will need kitchenware, furniture, and linens. He is seeking to set up his home to prepare for the return of his young daughter. Any assistance that is provided would be greatly appreciated.

A foster family who has not yet received a foster care payment is in need of the following: Size 5 Diapers, Stroller for Toddler a small girl's dresser.

(This is a follow up to a recent request with the updated need.) There is a single father in the county who is on disability and doing all he can to provide the best for his two children (a pre-teen & teenager). There is limited support received from the mother. The family has been without a working oven for quite some time. It was recently assessed by an appliance repairment who concluded that it cannot be repaired. Therefore the family is need of a new or used oven so the family is better able to cook meals to nourish the family appropriately. The family is also connected with a local ministry/organization who has an eye out for an oven that the family may be able to take.

My client is a single parent of 6 children and struggles with her health and has limited family support. My client has struggled with providing the basic needs for her children. She has recently found some stability in residence for her 6 children. My client struggles with keeping her children's clothing clean as she does not have a washer and she accumulates a load a day. My client donates plasma to pay the light and water and the little money she has left she utilizes it at the laundry mat. The children's clothing is at times oversized as she is given hand me downs to meet the needs of the children. The children are visible to the community and are at vulnerable age. Due to her mental struggles, it is overwhelming to have to tend to her children and constantly be cleaning after them. Her minimal resources hinders her ability to provide for their basic needs. I believe that a washer would enhance my clients motivation to continue to move forward in providing a stable lifestyle for her children. Along with cleaning supplies and trash bags and trash cans, assistance with gas and diapers as well.

I have a safety plan monitor that is currently getting foster care approved with a 1 year old boy and a 4 month old girl currently in her care. She is requesting a infant car seat for a little girl and would like one with a shade cover on it, a foldable high chair, toddler eating ware, Dipers size 3 for the boy and size 1-2 for the baby girl, wipes for both children, shoes for the toddler boy size 4 or 5 (reports that he can wear 5s but they are a little big), bibs and socks for toddler boy and infant girl.

JD knows of a woman who needs help with a hearing aid deductible. He tried to receive assistance through Passport but was denied through two different programs. Her deductible is $250. She lives in Pickerington and I have her name, address and phone number on hand.

A foster family recently welcomed a 3-week-old baby girl straight from the NICU into their home. She is a premie, and the family is in need of some premie-sized clothing to help care for her during this season. Their biggest need is zippered sleepers but any premie clothes would be helpful

A devoted grandmother, currently caring for her two young grandchildren (ages 7 and 6), recently had a mild stroke. She now needs to focus on getting better and has had to take time off from her hourly job. This has caused her income to drop, making it hard to cover important expenses. Any help during this tough time would really ease the financial pressure. It would help her pay for things like her mortgage,household bills, food, and grand children’s daycare. This would also give her peace of mind so she can take the time she needs to fully recover and strengthen her health.
