The department is supporting a remarkable 19-year-old young man who is transitioning out of the foster care system and thriving. He has secured a job and is proudly working hard—an incredible milestone on his journey to independence. As he continues building his future, he is in need of essentials like socks, underwear, and body wash—basic items that will help him feel confident and comfortable. Any support—big or small—would mean so much. Thank you for helping him step into this new chapter with dignity and pride!

We are working with a young mom with 4 (almost 5) children. She has been wanting to pursue getting her GED for quite some time but kept having to put it off due to having a busy/unreliable schedule. She needs a laptop that can do basic functions in order to do her school work through an online program that will allow her to get her GED completely at her own pace. Meeting this need will empower her to accomplish a goal that she has had for several years and provide her with better job opportunities in the future.

A mother has recently moved back in with her mom and is sharing a room with her 1-year-old daughter. As she works toward stability, she’s in need of a few essentials to help make their shared space more comfortable and functional. She is in need of a full or queen-size bed with sheets, as well as a dresser for her and her daughter to share.

Additional needs include basic hygiene items (such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, pads, deodorant, and body wash). A small television and a trash can would also be helpful additions to their space.

This mom is taking positive steps forward—she’s actively searching for employment and is enrolled in CNA classes starting in May. Any support to help ease her current burden would be a true blessing. Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a meaningful difference in her life.

Family of 4. Dad is on worker's compensation, mom is a full time student. Seeking help with college costs for my teenage daughter. Daughter needs two software programs for successful completion of her first year of college. Family is on a fixed income and has been unable to purchase the software.

I have a mom and daughter on my tree who needs a kitchen table and high chair. Mom is a full time student and is not able to purchase these things on her own. The baby is 9 months old and sweet as can be. Father is not much help and works at GM. This mom is proactive in elevating her education to provide a better life for her daughter. I think providing a high chair and a small kitchen table with four chairs will encourage mom to continue with her education and be seen and heard.

A mother in San Francisco has recently begun her trial reunification with her three boys. She has worked really hard to get her boys back, but has very low income. Our hope is that with some tangible support, to ease some of the financial burdens, this reunification will be successful and they can begin to move forward from their time apart.

All three boys love the colors red, white, and black. Gently used items in good condition are welcomed.

A family recently arrived from Africa fleeing their war-torn community. Dad, mom (who was pregnant with twins), and 3 children (ages 11, 9 and 6) travelled 2,500 miles, a good portion of it on foot, praying that they would be able to stay together and would be safe. The family was given refugee status and brought to America. They are in an apartment and do not know the language yet. Dad and mom are trying to set up a new home with their 5 children and have received assistance from His Helping Hands for furniture.

A Pathway member has met some of their other needs as she walks with them and one of their twins who has special needs.

Their current, most immediate needs are for a double stroller for the twins and preemie diapers. Thank you for supporting this family.

A single mom with 5 children (age ranges of 2 to 13) is struggling and could really use some support. She has had heartache after heartache over the past few years. The children's father is unable to work and be in the household due to mental illness and prior to all of this she was a stay at home mom. She has been actively trying to find work but the cost of child care has made it nearly impossible for her to do this. The primary vehicle is a large suburban which is expensive to fill up-a gas card would help with this as well as a gift card to Walmart to help with groceries and other essentials. If anyone knows of a legitimate work from home job, a job that would allow a mom to bring children or affordable child care near Valley Center or Park City, please reach out in the comments.

A mother who recently left an abusive marriage is needing help with moving from a house to a two-bedroom apartment where she and her 11-year-old son will be starting their new life. She needs help moving on Saturday, April 12. She has already rented the U-Haul and really needs help with the muscle! Everything is on the ground level and there are no appliances needing to be moved. The bigger items being moved will be 2 couches, end tables, TV stand, TV, mattresses, dining room table and boxes. The move will start on Saturday at 10:00 am. Our mother and son attend Westlink campus.

Can we have 6 people come along side this single mother to help her with her move? If you can help, please 'provide' assistance. We'll then reach out to get you connected with the family.

A mom has recently, courageously, left an abusive marriage with her 10 year old son. She has secured employment and has found a small apartment to start over. Mom and her son had to leave everything behind so are starting over to furnish their new home. She already has beds and a dresser, and someone has helped provide needed items for her bathroom.

This family still needs a couch, small kitchen table with 2 chairs, broom with dustpan, Swiffer wet mop, small vacuum for laminate flooring, pizza cutter and other kitchen utensils, dish drainer, spices, a coffee table and small bookshelf.

Mom is walking with a friend and Pathway member back to a healthy environment for her and her son.
